One of worst place I have ever been in USA taste is good but waiting time is limitless even though there is no crowd there were be just 1 or 2 tables they took minimum 50 minutes to get food. We all go to restaurant of course to eat but also spend some quality time with family but when ever we went this restaurant we ended up by quarreling because of wait and hungry kids and all we never ever go here again , one thing I notice the breads are not fresh its frozen other than tandoori roti its ok but please give food early before kids start crying and parents get frustrated. I experienced this for so many times my family loves Indian food but unfortunately this is only one Indian restaurant in Ames.and restaurant open and close times also vary always, when our in laws came here last year we went there and sit for 15 minutes and the waiter come and tell sorry kitchen closed, we went there...
Read moreI decided to revisit India Palace tonight, it has been many moons since I last was here, and Iam left wondering why I waited so long... Everthing was excellent, from the service to the food. I had Chili Chicken with delicious rice for entree, very tasty and well done, about 25 mins give or take after I order, so all went well. Many refills on water and Coke, also had the bread (like Pita), I cant recall what its called, also very good. I left stuffed, not sure others complaining about portion sizes? Will return! No wifi or bike racks, catering and delivery though, outdoor seating when appropriate, rebuild...
