Faves: flavored lattes, kids menu smoothies, ample cozy space, variety of seating options, sustainability focus, tipless! (With any tips going to a local cause -Ames school lunch hero program this month!) and location, so close to ISU, but with parking! The prices are also super reasonable and the staff is really friendly. This is a top study/work spot that you can feel good about supporting!

i was impressed by the atmosphere of this “shop” considering it’s in a church basement… it is a surprisingly bright and welcoming space that would be great for studying. i had an iced maple latte which was tasty, but i wish i would’ve gotten an extra shot of espresso. labyrinth is definitely a place worth checking out!

Kind, personable employees, delicious food and drink options, and a wonderful atmosphere! I get lunch here most every week and I'm never disappointed, today I even got the cutest muffin I've ever seen!

Very close to campus, extremely affordable (my iced coffee order here is $4.50 vs $7.50 at Starbucks), and they have excellent coffee and espresso. I love that they pay the staff a living wage and use tips towards good causes. A significant portion of the staff identify as LGBTQ, and despite being located within a church, Labyrinth doesn't have any religious signage or anything like that. I'm thrilled we have a place in Ames that is non-profit and truly focused on being a great...

When I first saw that this was in the basement of a church, I was like “hmm, is this going to be another one of THOSE coffee shops?” You know, the ones that try to send you not so subliminal conversion messages? But this place was pleasantly NOT THAT.

This was a comfortable and community supportive place to grab a coffee and a gluten-fee muffin. It’s eco-conscious and LGBTQ-friendly. Employees are paid a fair wage and the tips are given to charity. Why don’t you do...
