SHAME ON MANAGER MATT! I went in early this morning and received great service. I always order mostly the same thing. Today I wanted something different. The young ladies were excellent to take time to ask what I like and make a recommendation. The coffee drink was excellent also. I'm a commercial driver waiting out some snow so... later I came back in to grab Panera and see a man in a dress shirt behind the counter with 3 Starbucks ladies there now. I approach and one lady asked if she could help, I replied to ask if he was a manager she confirmed he was. He is standing right in front of me and still hasn't acknowledged me at all. So I continued to share just 20 seconds or so of a compliment to the girls who gave excellent service. This man never acknowledged me. The girls both 5 feet past him were saying thank you so much. Buy really shame on him. I would hate to work for someone who has no positive attitude. I went back in one more time before I left to ask his name. So shame on Matt for missing the opportunity to thank...
Read moreSo this Ohio turnpike starbuck have this lady... long hair, old ( im so sorry. I didnt catch her name) but you can tell she's as peppy and just belongs there as a strbucks barista. Love the fact that she knows her coffee. We talked about starbicks coffee and the fav coffee and such,- anyway, i ordered a tall cafe mocha and my husband a Sumatra, they have it as a pour over which is fine we will wait. And the crowed came, and boy what a long line. We gave way for the ones ordering and moved to the side and back because you dont mess with those that NEED their coffee. Not only did we get our coffee in a timely manner regardless of the crowd, this nice old lady walk around the crowd with my husband's coffee and handed it to him personally, so we don't have to go and cut through traffic. Now that's good customer service. Love the smiles. Love the service, visit this turnpike and meet her. Ask about starbucks coffee she...
Read moreI ordered a cappuccino and oatmeal for breakfast, asking three times if they had oatmeal. Instead, they started making me a cappuccino with oat milk. No one apologized after my remark; they just said "okay" with an absolutely cold, glassy stare and continued making the coffee. I asked for the price difference to be refunded. Overall, Starbucks service has dropped below zero in recent years. When I start my morning, I want to have a cup of coffee and begin my day, instead of being looked at as if I already owe them something, considering that a cup of coffee costs seven dollars.
