I'm quite disappointed. I've heard such good things about firehouse. I've always wanted to try it but maybe I just caught them at a bad time? It's just a shame it was my first experience. I don't want to say they're terrible. What I got is definitely not what I expected, but I guess it's fine I suppose. I placed a pick-up order online for two large hot subs. I got there and saw a sign about meatball subs on the door maybe indicating their oven or something was out. I wish I would've known ahead of time. Anyways, two toasted and hot subs I ordered. I added lettuce and black olives with a little sauce. The cheese was melted. the meat was cold. Below room temperature. The large sub roll was completely untoasted (this applies to both). It was a cold untoasted sub roll with cold meat and maybe I'm a little loopy but I think think the cooked onion or peppers added the residual heat. I have no clue how they melted the cheese. Maybe a quick broil? But it was a pick up. It was set for a specific time and tended to ASAP. It is below room temperature. I understand lettuce and such but really? It's in my oven right now. I scraped off the lettuce so I hopefully don't just taste slime.
I tried it cold. It's good. The ingredients taste like quality. But it is not what I expected when I ordered a hot sandwich. Maybe it was that sign on the door? But I pre-ordered online. I can't see the door. The service was great. I'm positive they did all they could.

Not as a customer, but as a delivery driver. I've never eaten in before, I always pick up my food or get it delivered, however I'm also a delivery driver and every time I'm there, I wait a significant amount of time. Today, 1-7-25, lunchtime, I waited 30 minutes. Everyone in the store had ordered and gotten their meals and several pick up orders, but not mine. I came today because I decided to give it another chance because all of the other deliveries I've done from here, I've usually had to wait at the very least, 15 minutes. I knew that I might need to wait a bit although I shouldn't be waiting at all because it is a delivery order, but was not expecting to wait 30 minutes, and it hadn't even been started. I approached the staff and all I got was I’m sorry the tickets must have gotten out of order. No rush to get mine done. By the way, they were complaining about being busy on a Wednesday! I had reached out to firehouse subs on Facebook (corporate I assume) and they just keep telling me they will send it over to management in the location this happened.
