Both my teenage son and I purchased phone protectors at the store and had them put on. We spent 30-40 minutes in the store, chatting and I thought everything was great and I was really happy with the product and service. We were told that after the initial $50 that if the phone protectors were cracked or needed replacing it would be $10. A month and a half later I went in to have mine replaced because I had dropped my phone face down and the screen protector had taken a lot of damage. When I went back in they asked if i still had the damaged screen protector. I let him know that I had dropped my phone about a week ago and there were slivers of glass getting stuck in my fingers so I had taken it off and thrown it away. He then informed me that it would be $50 to get a new phone protector because they have to send the damaged one to corporate. Not once, did anyone communicate that with me at any point in time. I can see that a lot of other people are happy with their services, but I felt scammed and angry that no one told me I need to keep the damaged screen protector and then they just shrugged their shoulders when I told them that. Like, no big deal. I wonāt recommend Zagg to anyone, but if you do use them, make sure you know all the loopholes to their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a pretty bad experience going through Zagg. Came in for a broken Pixel 6 screen fix, and after seeing the cost I was going to opt to just buy a new unlocked phone on Amazon and absorb the difference. They offered a deal on a refurbished Pixel 7 instead that'd be less than what I could order a new pixel 6 for. I figured this would save me time and money, but instead I waited about 12 days before the pixel 7 came in (they said it would only be 3-5 business days), had to wait another day for the data transfer, and then the day I get it, I noticed my 4g wasn't working...the phone was not unlocked, and it was unusable. I had to find this out by calling the prior providers help line, not by Zagg. After this I settled for just getting a new screen and got refunded the extra price for the pixel 7. They would not refund my screen protection I bought for the other phone and had already activated unknowing of the issue regarding the pixel 7's activation.
I felt my time and money was wasted whether purposefully or not, and instead of trying to compensate me for this rather massive inconvenience of being without a working cell phone for 1.5 weeks, they instead just kept trying to keep my money/business. Very disappointed and will not be recommending this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAttention those seeking warranty service! Register your ZAGG products (super important) and call corporate out of Midvale, Utah. Your experience will be way more professional than dealing with this franchise location! I purchased a kickstand case (and screen protector) for an iPhone 16 pro as a Christmas gift. The case hasnāt been on the new phone a full 30 days and the kickstand clip breaks off. This feature wasnāt being used everyday, let alone a full month. I understand if the phone had been dropped, or misused in any way. This was NOT the case. All I wanted to do was downgrade to the same case but without the kickstand. Thereās a $5 difference between the 2. The store manager said that I would have to pay the full 12 dollars to do the swap. It was t that it was just 12 dollars, but the principle of the matter, not to mention zero customer service. What?!? I called Zaggās corporate office. They apologized for this franchiseās lack of assistance in light of all the facts. They also mentioned that the Ammon store location associates should have told me to register both the screen shield and case, which never happened. Corporate is expediting shipment of a new case to me free of charge for which Iām extremely grateful! Now THAT is...
