Birrieria Guadalajara — Restaurant in Anaheim

Loved the fast service! First off, let me say that this is by far a decent place restaurant. It is kept cleaned. Left over trays are picked up right away, so tables are always available, clean, and ready for customers. Their menu is very simple: birria everything (tacos, burritos, quesabirria, fried tacos, tortas, and birria plate)! We opted for a quesa birria, birria fried tacos, and birria suave tacos. Everything was delicious. The quesabirria is served on a large freshly made tortilla de a Mano de maiz. The portion on that quessbirria is alot for 2kids, probably even for 1adult. The tacos dorados, the tortillas are dipped into the consume then fried. They're nice and crunchy. The suave tacos the tortillas are dipped into the consome and heated up on the Comal. Again, 1 taco is enough for 1child(2tortillas to 1 taco). The birria it's self was very tender, not chewy, and fell apart every single time we bit that taco. It is extremely well seasoned which many restaurants fail to do in my opinion! You are given cebolla, cilantro, limes, and 3 different kinds of salsas. Careful with the tomatillo one, it's definitely hot but has great flavor. We sat at the bar to eat our food. The bartender was extremely nice. Extremely knowledgeable about the liquor they had on hand especially tequila. Overall, it was a pleasant visit at this Birrieria Guadalajara in Anaheim! Give them a try you won't be...

We waited all football season to check this place out, it was recommended by one of my husband's social media groups. My husband and I knew this place was a Dallas Cowboy place which, is great for my husband, as he is a huge Dallas fan. We went on Sunday 12/23/18 to watch his game and to stay and watch my SAINTS game. Unfortunately, this is a zero star rating because we didn't make it in the front door! We were met at the door by several individuals and one of them said, "Sorry, she (me) cannot come in!" We thought he was joking. I wasn't allowed in the front door because I was wearing Saints gear. Seriously!? This is a public place! The individual said, "it's a private event."

The food change you can tell the flavor of the meat the original taste when they open don't know if it's due to inflation or change in ingredients but it sure doesn't taste like before the tortilla definitely changed but I was not satisfied knowing I was always satisfied with the 3 tacos dorados I usually always get never tasted different but this time I noticed. Not sure if it was a new cook or not but I was disappointed. The service is always great especially the bar and the bar attendant that's the only other reason I go there. One time I was so hungover and went for 3 tacos and one super chilled mug with a michelada mix oof brought me back to life this was during and ending of COVID so the ingredients or maybe that day which was Wednesday 03/20/2024. So please go back to whatever it was that you guys were doing if you guys are a change I love this place and wouldn't want to travel all the way to Whittier for other birria place. Please 😭 maybe the new chef I wanna cross my fingers it was.
