worst place ever! this place has so many health code violations, they should be closed and fumigated. the night we checked in, we expected the appearance of the outside of the hotel to be subpar, considering the area. However, based on the photos of the rooms they advertise, it seemed renovated and clean. when we went into our delux double bed room, all the bedsheets and pillows were covered in hair along with stains. the towels were dirty and all the furniture had stains galore. there was also leftover food like pretzels and candies wrappers left throughout the place. the bathroom is probably the worst part- ridden with water damage, the tub is encrusted with black and pink mold and questionable stains on all the walls and doors.
I asked the front desk agent (Peter) if anyone cleaned the room and he couldn’t answer. he offered to change the room but it was a big downsize and one bed (we had four people). He said they would do a deep clean first thing in the morning (cleaning was started till around 5pm after I asked them twice to come by in the morning). They doused the whole space in bleach and strong cleaning chemicals so I got an immediate he’s had when I walked in. Tried taking a shower and there was no hot water (ran it for 40 minutes straight). Asked if they could turn the water heater on and Peter told me to try again. When we came back at night to check the water, there was coachroaches everywhere and some spiders crawling around. I went back to Peter and requested a full refund and wanted to check out (around 11pm). He told me to stay the night in their air bnb apartment room and wait to speak with a manger in the morning who could give me the full refund. He said if I left than I might not get the refund. the apartment was a step up considering it had hot water but still had mold, hairballs and random stains throughout.
Went in the morning to speak with the manager and it was Peter again. He told me they would refund the remaining stay and not charge a cancellation fee but still charge me for the two nights I stayed. I asked to speak with s manager and there was none to speak with and Peter refused to call him or give me his info. he simply stated that I would just have to reach out to Expedia.
I highly recommend to not stay here and you can actually find better, cleaner, and even cheaper hotels in Buena Park which is not far at all (ie Colony Inn and...
Read moreWe checked into the hotel without seeing the room first, trusting Expedia based on our positive experiences with them in the past. However, when we entered the room, we were shocked by the poor condition. The detergent smell was overwhelmingly strong, and the door had dirty spots near the handle. The window curtain was stained, and the walls were marked with dark spots. The bed appeared unclean, with white flakes that looked like dandruff on the pillows and sheets, which gave the impression they had been used by someone else before us. There were also two bloodstains on the wall next to the dresser, suggesting insects had been killed and left there. The bathroom curtain was similarly dirty, with two more bloodstains, and the towels were torn. We took photos of everything to document the issues.
To make matters worse, we noticed an insect, possibly a spider, walking across the desk, and another one crawled on my finger— we even recorded a video of it. On top of all that, the neighbors next door were loudly talking and smoking marijuana, and the smell filtered into our room. We immediately called the front desk, and they offered to move us to another room, which we inspected. However, that room smelled of urine, so we decided to cancel the reservation and request a refund.
I have a strong sensitivity to strong odors and am unable to tolerate unclean environments, so this situation was completely unacceptable. The front desk told us they couldn’t issue a refund and advised me to contact Expedia. I called Expedia multiple times, but after long holds, they hung up on me twice. On the third attempt, they claimed they couldn’t reach the property manager and couldn’t help further. At that point, we were completely exhausted and frustrated by the lack of support and clear answers.
This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. What was supposed to be a special honeymoon trip turned into a nightmare. I will never ever use them again. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A RESERVE HERE. You will never have an answer, you will your money (we paid more than $500. Property manager is not available to answer your question and provide a refund. Poor service, dirty room, stealing money!!!! What else!! All in one package… One star is already too much for what we experienced in “Anaheim...
Read moreWhen i was looking at this hotel, the pics looked good, price was good, reviews bad. I gave it a chance. The BAD REVIEWS ARE REAL. The rooms are big, yes, clean absolutely not. I paid for a king deluxe which i did not get. It was missing so many things. Forget about wifi if your not near the office. They don't mop floors, don't use bleach on towels or linens so they're all stained. Drains are blocked, sinks/toilets are not attached properly, dirty urine stained mattresses, they don't wash the toppers either. No tea/coffee makers, irons/boards or hair dryers in most rooms. No breakfast of any kind. The maids are really nice but they can't clean. There is still food, blood, urine, etc on the walls, cobwebs on the ceiling and yes they have roaches. They also price gouge more than any hotel I've seen, price changes every few minutes. Going from $57 in season to now over $100 out of season for standard unfinished, unclean rooms. Not good business whether you need money or not. We've stayed a few times in different rooms. All rooms have issues or aremissing things. I didn't even get a discount for cleaning a whole room myself, food, blood, soured milk in the fridge, food on the floors, dirty everything. When you live in motels you don't have many options on places to go if your on a budget or fed up of moving. These hotel managers KNOW THIS and take advantage, especially if you have kids. They're starting to get awful guests, wife beating men, one ran his wife over, there was blood all over the car for over a day and the parking lot for days, which is still there! Men banging on windows at 7am shouting for drugs. I had one harassing me in the parking lot when i was leaving. The manager is ok. He's by no means trained at all. This place could be nice, it needs trained staff that know how to run a hotel, and maids that can clean...
