Little Caboose Taco Shop — Restaurant in Anaheim

My wife and I really love Little Caboose. We've been coming here since the early '90s when they were located at Beach and Ball and Mama Savala was serving with a beautiful smile. We drive from Long Beach (passing many taco shops in the process) because of the outstanding burritos and enchiladas there. My favorite burrito is the chile verde with cheese. The cheese is shredded American cheese and, strangely enough, it works, works very well. My wife loves the #2 which comes with 2 large enchiladas (she gets the chicken with onions), rice and beans. Their enchilada sauce isn't really the usual sauce associated with your typical enchilada. It's kind of creamier and very delicious. I also very much enjoy the tamales and tacos. And their beans, damn their beans are good. Excellent bean and cheese burritos. Kenny, who works nights, is a very nice guy....

Needed somewhere close to Disneyland on Cinco de De Mayo. This place was open until midnight and got good reviews. I called in the order and picked it up 10 min later. Super sweet dude working the register. Chips are thin and crunchy and amazing. Salsa is super hot, so be careful. Got the potato taco (to see if it lives up to the hype): it was good, but not "omfg that is AMAZEBALLS" good. Also the #3 combo ( chicken taco & cheese enchilada ) which was very tasty. Also ordered a chicken enchilada which they forgot, so dinged a point for that. I would've given 4 stars if they hadn't forgotten my BFs dinner. Good stuff. Open later than some. Close...

Cash only in a society where your you can pay through your phone. I know its tuff for mom and pop shops acquiring merchant accounts. I wonder who's making the 2.50 charge on the atm fee? I would rather pay fifty cents for a surcharge like other places. It seems like a take it or leave it attitude. I would also like to say that I don't late grated kraft cheese singles on my food. That is the only cheese they have there American cheese. Don't believe me ask. I could have got over the cash only but the grated american cheese was a deal breaker. I wont give thus place on star because I have had some good food there when I forgot to...
