I recently dined at Al Amir Bakery, and it exceeded all my expectations. I ordered the Cheese and Zaatar flatbread, as well as the Sojouk and Cheese flatbread. The flavors were incredible, and although I arrived as hungry as a bear fresh out of hibernation, I could only manage to snap a photo of the leftovers because I got full so quickly.
The entire experience was fantastic, and the best part was that I enjoyed all of this culinary delight for under $20. The freshly handmade dough and all-natural ingredients made each bite a true pleasure. Accompanied by a refreshing hot tea, the meal was both satisfying and memorable.
I regret not discovering this gem sooner. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, guiding me through the menu and ensuring my visit was perfect. The establishment was spotless, with a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Plus, the ample free parking and easy road access added to the convenience.
Overall, my visit to Al Amir Bakery was nothing short of amazing. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the excellent service and mouthwatering...
Read moreI'm no expert on this type of food, but I can say this: I was hooked on this place when, several years ago, my wife and I came here for the first time, got two really well prepared (if different from what I'm used to) pizzas, some olives and vegetables, and two drinks, and the bill was something like $9. I thought they were either undercharging me or got the order wrong, but no, that's what it was. I'd probably expect pay triple that for the quality of food we got. It is slightly more expensive now I think, but not by a lot. If you aren't used to this kind of food, as I wasn't, ask for recommendations, be adventurous, and I am sure you'll walk away happy. If you ARE used to this kind of food, you probably already know about Al Amir. I've tried a few other Lebanese bakeries in the neighborhood now, and this is still...
Read moreUpdate: I still love Al Amir bakery and I come here whenever I can, which is not as often as I would like. Try the Zatar and cheese pizza first, if you're not sure of what to try, and you won't be disappointed. Hummus and the spinach pastries are good here too.
The atmosphere is just some simple tables that are perfectly fine for you to enjoy your pizza.
I don't know anywhere else like this, and there's no need to go anywhere else. I don't really know how to describe it apart from saying it's middle eastern style pizza. Flavors are not what you'd expect at a traditional place, but there are still olives, sauce and cheese. The oven they use makes a delicious crust, and you just need to try it...
