This franchise needs severe micromanagement. A month ago we ordered for our kids and baby sitter as we went out for a date night. We ordered just before 5 and it typically takes 40-50 minutes for a delivery. As we are getting ready to leave for our date night no pizza has arrived. So I call, the line rings non stop until I hear the receiver pick up and then hang up. Weird, I wait a few minutes try again. Same thing happens. I tried two more times before we had to leave for dinner. I this point I order food from somewhere else. While we are at dinner we keep calling. Someone finally answers but we are put on hold. And we will never talk to a person again. Needless to say it was hard to enjoy ourselves not knowing what is going on. While finishing our dinner we notice on our home cameras that papa John’s finally delivered, it was 8:30, 3 1/2 hours late. They dropped it at the door step and It arrived cold as well. My wife wants to give the store a visit so after dinner we headed there. The store was in chaos and we were told some one forgot to load the receipt paper. They even offered us pizza’s that were from previous back orders. All we wanted was a refund which they fulfilled. Fast forward to last night we ordered two sides cheese sticks and garlic breadsticks. They arrived on time, no issue. However the breadsticks were burnt and not “fluffy like a pillow” as they advertise. We called and a woman said they would send out another to us. It never came. Let me begin by explaining how intensely pissed off and how I now know why the euclid store #3891 is listed 3.7 on Google mostly attributable to service related issues. My name is xxxxxxxx, my number is xxxxxxxxx and I would appreciate a call sometime regarding this complaint. I ordered online using my points for a pizza, and ordered poppers, unsauced wings, and buffalo wings. I received the pizza and poppers, no wings. The receipt I saw said I was charged for the pizza and poppers, but oddly enough I went from 18 rewards points to 3. I called the store upset to inquire about it and the response I was given was pretty much the following: "fk off, take it up online". They told me to email, write this long draft pissed off because they didn't want to deal with a customer that's been ordering awhile from them. The thing that sucks the most is this was for an Oscar party that I can't completely feed because the manager at the time, M*, didn't want to rectify the situation. I am not paying this charge, order number xxxx, because this is a discrepancy that I feel is fraudulent on papa johns for not providing what was ordered and requested. Read moreI always make it a point to order directly from this Papa John’s location to support local business rather than using third-party delivery services. Today, I decided to try using their app. I was charged, but the app gave me an error message saying my info was incorrect.
When I called the store for help, I expected understanding and good customer service—but instead, I spoke with a young manager who seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful. He kept repeating the same scripted response and offered no real assistance.
I even reached out to app support with screenshots showing the charge on my bank account, but still got nowhere.
It’s disappointing to see such poor accountability and lack of care, especially from someone in a management position. I feel completely disrespected and dismissed.
To anyone thinking about ordering from this location—do yourself a favor and drive to a different one. You deserve better. Shame on...
