Win Thai is my FAVORITE Thai restaurant in Orange County. I'm Vietnamese (and from NYC) and love Thai food but I find that most Thai restaurants in the US (including some even in NYC) produce bland concoctions that bear no resemblance to real Thai food.

Win Thai is different - their cooking is very home-cooked tasting and fresh. I LOVE their cashew chicken (which I order with spinach or broccoli for an extra $1), but have also enjoyed several other dishes from their large menu (most items are under $10), including their pad thai and their wonderful seafood and mixed veggies dish. I like my food spicy (Southeast Asian spicy), but my husband prefers his food less so. I like that Win Thai can cook hot, hot, hot dishes not so hot (to accommodate my husband's taste buds) but still yummy and not lacking any of the flavor that I associate with real Thai food.

The staff are friendly and the booths are big and comfortable even if the decor is somewhat hole-in-the-wall-ish. But even the unexciting decor is fine with me, so long as the delicious food...

Had to seriously downgrade based on my experience last night... It was my birthday, and a friend and I had a late start to the evening. I suggested we go to Win Thai, based on my first trip there, which had gone fine. Thier hours (online and on the door) state that they are open until 9:30pm... We arrived at 9:04. Upon entry, the woman at the host station asked if we were picking up, and when we stated that we were not, we were refused service! "Oh, 9:30 is for pick up only... Dining closes at 9:00..." I let her know that it doesn't state that on their hours out front, or anywhere else... To make matters worse, upon getting ready to pull out of parking we noticed a van pull in right in front. An Asian woman entered the restaurant, and didn't appear to have the same issue. In fact everyone else dining inside was non-caucasian... Fun Fact - discrimination isn't just something white people do.... Note: previously rated 5 stars. I'll be removing the only photos for Win Thai from...

Ok soo I have been coming here for more than a year. The atmosphere is wonderful--family owned restaurant serving authentic Thai food. The uncle and auntie are both super nice and friendly, and the granny working there is always so sweet. Today I placed an order of Pad Thai for the potluck and I received the best service. The amount of food is just way beyond affordable and economical especially for Halal food, you won't find other places like this easily----could feed at least 6 people in one setting. I came in late and the food was ready 25 mins before my arrival, and guess what? The food was still burning hot when I got it, that means they took good care of the food. The food is authentic to the point you will not see Americanized items on their menu and they know what they do. The Pad Thai was super tender and flavorful, seasoned just perfectly. The family is super down to earth and I just cannot help but to visit as much as...

First time and when we came in at 6pm and a Saturday and there were no other customers inside, we had a feeling we were in for something, and sure enough this ended up being the worst Thai food experience we have had, as we try lots of different places. The paid Thai was OK but very bland and had chunks of paste (the sauce?), and the Pad See Ew and other dish (like a drunken noodles) were very burnt to a crisp, and tasted burnt and blackened. Thai tea was watered down and not flavorful. Service was also not good, we were surprised that even though we were the only customers, the two staff members were eyeing us like a hawk, making our experience not as enjoyable. I do many Google Reviews and this is the probably the first 1* I’ve given among hundreds of reviews

I went July 10, 2021. The windows were tinted, didn’t seem friendly or welcoming. The restaurant was empty. I couldn’t find the Food Sanitation Letter Grade, which needs to be displayed and visible to customers. On display is a newspaper review from 2001!! One lady behind the counter was watching tv on her iPad, FLOSSING HER TEETH, and using a massage gun!!!! I ordered my chicken pad Thai and it was $13, pretty pricey for Thai food!! The pad Thai was bland. REALLY PRICEY for mediocre pad thai!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!

This is a hidden gem Thai restaurant tucked away behind a carwash building. They make some good Thai food here. My girlfriend and I tried the beef larb salad, she had the drunken noodles, and I had the pad Thai. What stands out most is the quality of meat. They are prepared kosher and the beef was so tender, juicy, and fresh compared to other places we've been to. The pad Thai wasn't as pan-fried grilled as I like and was a little on the saucier side, but I'd definitely come back regardless
