Ordered a burger combo with fries. Asked for a single honey mustard packet because I like it on my burger and with use the rest with my fries. Told I would be charged for extra sauce. I explained it wasn't "extra" sauce when I want one to go with my meal. The lady at the window proceeded to argue and kept pointing at the sign saying extra sauce will be charged an additional fee. I understand if you want extra on top of what you would recieve with a meal you should be charged. But when I have always recieved a free sauce with my meal because I am paying $16 for food and a shake, they seriously would rather argue than give me a single condiment packet? If I ordered a tender combo I was told I would not be charged for the sauce. But i would be for a burger combo? Jack in the box is my favorite fast food chain. This was my first time at this location and I will not be returning. They seriously wanted to charge for a sauce packet that I have always gotten with my meals and have always been told that, if I wanted more than a few, then I'd be charged. But for a single packet when I wanted something for my fries and burger? The employee said they always charge at their location. What I want to know is, how cheap is the franchise owner then? And was it worth losing a customer who moved to the area who goes out 1-2x a week for Jack? I will go out of my way to find a different location because of the tone of the worker and because I asked if it could be skipped this time because it was the first time at their location and I would be mindful in the future. It wasn't about the extra fee. It was about her tapping the window sticker every time I started to talk and say no exceptions could be made for free sauce. Only ketchup. I work in fast food. I will always work with the customer when explaining a policy that is either new or only enforced at my store. This location fails their customers. Never given a 1 star before. But it's for the way the situation...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. I bought an ultimate cheeseburger medium combo for almost $10.00. I normally ordered this burger because it used to be a decent size burger. Jack in the box was my late night place to go for a burger. But, what a big surprise it was when I got my order. The medium fries looked like small fries, which was not good at all. They were not even fresh. The fries were bad, but my biggest disappointment was my burger. It was just like McDonald's $1.99 cheeseburgers. Very small, I mean very small. Huge difference from what an ultimate cheeseburger used to be. Why even call it ultimate? It should be called mini cheeseburger or kid's size cheeseburger. Extremely overpriced. I couldn't believe that I just paid almost $10.00 for such a terrible meal. That was the last time going to Jack in the box. Almost thirty years of being a faithful customer ruined just by corporate greed. Downsizing the burgers and increasing the price is not the way to keep customers happy. I will never go back to...
Read moreI would do negative stars if able. A car ahead of me and myself pulled into the drive thur off of Magnolia and waited. After having looked at the brightly lit menu board, the first car proceeded up to the order box. When first car finally pulled forward..we pulled up to the order box and waited....and waited. We got ticked and dtove up to the window...lights were dim and not a sole there!! When drive thur is in the back of the building, there is no way to see this Jack in the Box is Closed. And having the same bright lights on the menu board while closed is selfishness to your customers. At least have hours posted on or near the brightly lit menu board or at least dim the lights so it doesn't appear you are open. So, lost our business and won't return due to your lack of...
