Pros: the park is huge with wide open fields. Basketball court, and baseball field. Has a playground for kids under 6 seem to have fun there. Hidden Mickey found here! If you're lucky sometimes you'll catch the elote man or Ice cream man after 220pm Cons: There's no drinking fountain that works, The bathroom smells like legitimate poop to the point your gagging waking in to often than not. HELLA HOMELESS HERE!! People don't drugs in the bathroom, people sleeping in their cars, random stray dogs that behave hostile. At night, It becomes unsafe to even walk through due to campsites of addicts and homeless. It's right behind an elementary school too, so you'd assume it's safe but...not always!!!! So much room for improvement.. Like maybe add shaders for the kids so the slide don't burn them summers, or a kiddie pool, water misters around the courts, OR WORKING WATER AT THE PARK TO DRINK. Security for the park would be great to, we have kids and drug addicts there. Smh Come on Anaheim, cleanup my Neighborhood for all the mums and the kids in the area. 🙏

I visited this park on a daily basis until today. Three men dressed in black clothes, wearing backpacks, were blocking people from using the public restroom. They were obviously selling drugs and using the restrooms for their clients to use. This was all happening at 10 AM in broad daylight. Half the park doubles as an elementary school so this is disturbing. I called the police but I'm confident they will not arrive on time. They usually come 45 minutes to 2 hours after I make a call. Updated part: More recently I avoid this area even when I jog. I was assaulted by someone as I was jogging by the park one morning on La Palma (2020). I'm pretty sure the person was a resident and not a homeless person.

The park is nice but the parking lot is dirty. If you go make sure you go early and with friends or family don't go by yourself specially in the evening. There is alot of homeless by the bathroom. Make sure you don't park where are people living in their car sometimes they're smoking weed or doing drugs. I go because soccer practice and it's ok. But not for a family day. Don't send the kids to the bathroom by themselves or you by yourself.

The overall park is pretty nice, especially the shadier areas under the trees. The baseball fields are okay, with a clay infield but a very uneven and patchy outfield. The basketball court is cracked and uneven in a few planne but mostly nearer to center court. The playground has nice enough quality equipment but it's a bit small for the large volume of kids it gets on weekends and in the afternoons. Also, the playground really isn't kept clean enough and/or adults who come here don't respect it. I see a lot of cigarette butts and other grossness in the woodchip mulch that makes up the surface of the playground. The grass in the immediate vicinity of the playground is also full of small litter that you wouldn't want a toddler picking up.

A lot of people in these reviews seem to complain about the homeless population here, which is really not that bad. There are almost always some around, but they mostly keep out of the way and don't bother anyone. I would agree that one often sees people drinking and smoking in the parking lot, however, which...

Nice park over all, if you going to go I suggest going to the restroom before hand, the restroom quality is very poor and it has very bad distinctive odors, right next to the restrooms is where the homeless and/or druggies hang out, across from that you will find a nice basic basketball cort, other things offered here are a playground, bassball field(some times is occupied by a team if elders, please note if they are playing not to cross the feild bear them or make any sort of contact with them in game they are very strict and grump they will get mad and disturbed other times it is occupied by teams of youngsters they are faily nice about things) alot of feild good for soccer and an area of shelter with benches (usually where partys are held) the community of people are nice most of they speak English...
