Sweetheart's Dessert Lounge — Restaurant in Anaheim

Hadeel and her family have curated possibly the best dessert joint this Tennessee sweet lover has ever found. We had just finished BBQ nearby and my 13-year old is a banana pudding addict (inherited from me) and was in pudding withdrawals. I quickly Googled "Banana Pudding Near Me" and Sweetheart's popped up, and closed in seven minutes. Hadeel greeted us with great kindness and eagerness to give us their very best. Two banana puddings, two brownies, one crème brûlée, and one sea-salt chocolate chip cookie later, we had one sugared-up, ecstatic Nashville family. The owner admitted to being nervous after I shared my banana pudding recipe and long love for the treat. I told her she would find out our thoughts via a Google review. My kid said it's the best he ever had. His older brother nursed a spoonful for over 20 minutes, refusing it to end. The brownie was dense like fudge with all the flavor of a dark chocolate flourless cake. The chocolate chip cookie was airy and crispy. The crème brûlée sits half eaten in the fridge because my spouse didn't want the tastgasm to end tonight. To give Sweetheart's 5-stars when other dessert places across America get 5-stars just seems unfair. There should be an extra level of greatness beyond 5-stars, and they would absolutely get that from me. The service was fast, kind, thorough...even with them making the banana pudding fresh to order. The facility was clean, bright, and had easy parking. Thank you over and over for such an amazing dessert...

8.29.24. Stopped in for a quick visit after I fueled up my car. This place is right next door to the Arco gas station. A nice cute place. Friendly staff member and delicious sweets to fill your eyes and tummy. I didn't want to over do it, I will have to return to try other items. For today's visit I got the biscoff cookie butter cookie, a Raspberry strudel and a peach/ black tea ice tea. All were nice and delicious. The tea was not too sweet, I love that. The strudel and cookie did not let me down. Just smelling the cookie I knew it would be super delicious, and it was! I'm definitely coming back to bring some friends to try out these treats. They do have the Dubai chocolate bar and pistachio knafeh cookie but I can't get those since it has Tahini and I'm allergic to that. Nonetheless, this place is cute and great to satisfy your sweet tooth after lunch or dinner. Hope you try them out. Support small businesses because they support the community. Skimpy on the drink toppings.

My sister and I were super disappointed with our drinks because they barely gave us any boba. They charge an additional 60 cents for boba, but only gave us what looked like 10 cents worth. Criminal. The drink alone was also pretty expensive so we thought it was ridiculous.

Lychee Green Tea: 8/10 - nice sweet flavor Passionfruit Green Tea: 7/10 - tart and refreshing Boba (Topping): 10/10 - soft and chewy

The shop itself was cozy and had a lot of cute deserts in the display window. It's located next to a gas station which is kind of odd, but they have a designated parking area.

Maybe come for the desserts, definitely...
