I have been wanting to go here for a while and I am so finally made it.I was able to schedule a reservation for 7/16/2023 for a table for four via Yelp. The process is fast and easy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and patient. I went with my partner and their parents. My partner's mom and I ordered Mi Chiquitita and she loved it so much that she ordered another one. It was sweet, creamy, and not a weak drink. I loved how aesthetically pleasing it was as well as the interior of the spot and the other drinks I posted. 5/5 if you like a drink that's sweet, creamy, and has a punch.
My partner ordered a whiskey type of drink and they loved it. 5/5
My partner's father had a special drink made by the mixologist and he was very happy with his drink. I took a few sips and it it was a great drink. I'm not sure what it was called but this drink was refreshing and not overwhelmingly sweet which was perfect for him.
I also had Prince of a Thousand Enemies and that mug is a Viking skull and looked intruiging. It is not a drink for those of faint of heart(lightweights) or that don't like their drinks strong. I prefer my drinks on the sweeter side but the drink was good enough for me to finish. My partner had a sip and they rated it a 5/5 and I give it a 4.5/5.
For food starters, we ordered the garlic & Parmesan tater tots, Esquite, fries, and another potatoe dish. The garlic parmesan tater tots were the bomb 10/5
The esquite was surprisingly delicious. It was so savory and all the flavors worked perfectly together. 10/5 The fries were good and my partner's dad finished them which he scored then 5/5 & I score them 4/5
The other potato dish was good with a good amount of seasoning and a tad oily. 4.5/5
The ambiance made me feel as though I was in prohibition which is the effect they aim for(beautifully executed) Bravo. The decor, lighting, positive vibes, and music were stunning and customer service was superb. The staff as mentioned earlier were attentive and friendly, and made the experience a great one because we all know customer service is of the utmost importance. I highly recommend this spot and if you do let me know what you think and if you tried the bomb food that I...

This is such a cool speakeasy hidden inside Anaheim Packing district. I was reading through the Yelp reviews hoping someone put directions on where to find this place - and god bless his soul - Henry C. noted exactly where to find this bar. We were the last reservation so we didn't want to be late. We went downstairs to the sake barrel wall and waited for someone to check us in. We knew we were in the right place since their menu was on the podium by the wall.
The lady who checked us in was very nice (Bri - not sure if I spelled that correctly) took us behind the sake barrel door, seated us at the left corner of the bar, and informed the bartender that we were celebrating our anniversary. It took awhile for the bartender to make us our drinks but we took that time to admire the decor. We love their bar set-up and glassware that they use. Their alcohol was very organized, the garnishes were big & fresh, and the bartenders were quite meticulous in everything they do.
Our bartender was named Becca who just has a contagious positive energy. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time we were there. She made us a complimentary drink set for our anniversary. It tasted like Yakult which was shocking since it was not on her listed ingredient list.
Waves Know Shores ($17): Wow, this was phenomenal! Beautiful mix of tequila blanco, chile vodka, la luna mezcal, supasawa, cane, & saline. Heard the background story of how this came to be and represented "water" out of the elemental drinks they created. It tasted fresh, clean (filtered), and delicious! We could have just chugged it down like water.
Mi Chiquitita ($19): This was one of their more popular drinks with a mix of cacao rum, coconut rum ube syrup, cream of coconut, and lemon. It had a huge pineapple garnish which Becca encouraged us to eat as they make those fresh in-house daily. It was indeed sweet and nice to chew on after the drink. The drink itself was good but doesn't compare to Waves Know Shores. It had a pretty strong nutty flavor and a grainy texture.
Becca told us about all the different themes and decor they were planning to do for the upcoming holidays so we definitely need...
Read moreI have been coming to Blind Rabbit for YEARS and the service I received last weekend has be second guessing if I will ever come back. To start we were seated late for our reservation and placed at at table that was literally pushed up against the piano. Normally the cramped space would be cozy, but tonight they had a live pianist playing that deafened our table. We literally had to yell over the music to be able to hear one another; it was awful. If I had known we would be placed there I would have chosen a different speakeasy.
Secondly our server Becca (short for Rebecca) was obviously drunk; slurring her speech, having difficulty keeping her eyes open, and easily confused. She was not able to tell us which items were GF and we waited 45 mins for her to come back with the information. She stated that the artichoke dip and pita, fried olives, crab cakes, and beef dish were all GF but could not tell us what the 'bread' items were substituted with. Needless to say we did not feel comfortable ordering food for some of our party members. It took an hour for our food items to come out, which some were cold or undercooked, or flat out the wrong item!
Our first round of drinks took over 30 mins and the table was not served all at the same time, but one side of the table was served then 10-15 mins later the rest of the table was served. For context we were a party of 5 and were ordering off the menu for drinks, no accommodations.
We also had difficulty reaching our server and we often had to flag down other servers or the host to bring drinks or send back dishes that were not cooked properly (cold hard carrots, dip that had gone cold waiting for pita or fries, ect.). It was also awkward to have a front row seat to our serving being discipline by presumably the manager. It corrections need to be delivered it should be done off the floor or maybe once the customers are gone?
Overall this was an awful experience. There are a lot of great speakeasies in the area and Blind Rabbit should not be your...
