3.5 stars. I was a little skeptical with the location and look of the place and the staff.. but the food was great. We got a torta, costillas and chilaquiles. All good.. torta was a little toasty.. and rice was not the greatest, also on a dry end. I wanted to try their menudo but am always skeptical of eating that at restaurants during the week, but lots of people came and went with orders of menudo, which made me regret my decision of not trying it. So I'd give it a try next time. We got there at 9am and they were cleaning tables from last night and taking out trash, this should be done the night before during closing for sanitary reasons! The menus are old looking and did not feel clean, should renew/remake them. Those was the only things I disliked

Went for breakfast on a weekday shortly after they opened, the dining area stayed about half full the whole time but lots of phone orders were being placed. I got the Machaca and it was so flavorful but I wasn't aware that the peppers listed on the menu weren't bell peppers but instead serranos. It was spicy! The beans and rice were delicious and I'll come back just for sides of those. Plus you get fresh handmade corn tortillas. The ladies working were great and I'll be returning to try their lunch/dinner menu.

Came here for some food before heading home. Someone I know mentioned that this place was good. It was very clean and had some people sitting in 7 tables. The tacos were very delicious. The torta de milanesa de res was a little dry both the meat and the torta itself. I got a Mexican soda with a cup of ice. I also got a coffee which was very good. I don’t usually drink hot coffee I prefer iced coffee but I would drink this hands down. Overall I had a good experience. I heard the menudo is good 👍🏽

After more than a decade going to have there menudo unfortunately, as of this morning we will no longer be supporting, after getting my order wrong 3 different times I called spoke to Martin who he said was the owner son, I explained my issue and he advised for me to go and he would leave a note, I go out of my way this morning to be treated poorly, was told nothing was told to her so I need to call back later I said ok thank you ask her name she hung up on me, called later Martin was then also rude this time he wasn’t just owner son But the owner, wanted a receipt or proof that my order was wrong lol keep the 15$ Martin it’s to bad like you said you didn’t care if we went back, I hope your Dad/family reads this and teaches you that’s it’s due to loyal customer your still in business! Yes food is good but to be treated by an entitled kid Owner Son Martin I rather not waste my gas or money there again, to bad customer service doesn’t...

I was pretty excited to try this place since I've heard great things from it. I have extremely high expectations when it comes to Mexican food, and I'm sad this place disappointed. I ordered the chilaquiles, no where in the menu did it say they had eggs. I was able to pick the egg out, and kind of enjoy the rest. The sauce for the chilaquiles needed a bit more kick to it, the beans were actually really good and the rice was decent. They do give you chips and salsa, I had the horchata to drink and it was good. Service could have been better, but it wasn't the worst. There was a sign by the door saying 'please wait to be seated ' but there was no one seating customers. Waited for like 5 min and no one walked up, so we sat ourselves. Waited another 5 to be given menus. Ordering was fast and our food was brought out fast too. Maybe it was just a bad service day, but I might give it...

The food is good. The menudo is my go-to. They serve it every day too. Not many places in Anaheim do. The salsa that comes with chips can sometimes be pretty bad, and they usually take a long time to serve you. It's like they want to make it a restaurant with waiters but they only serve you. They don't really wait on you, they don't come and ask you if you need anything. They're supposed to give you the bill when you're done, but usually I have to go get it and pay at the front. Which I don't mind but I feel if they're going to have waiters and expect you to tip, then they should be able to give you the whole restaurant experience. Otherwise just have the food at the front and make it more of a fast food spot. So foods great, authentic Mexican food, service could...
