(someone who worked here) It is truly disgusting about the things you guys can and will say about a place based of the workers. i have read some of the most racist and absolutely disgusting things on these reviews. we may have been slow i apologize, people can’t seem to realize that chicken can’t sit out for more than an hour or else it becomes a potential hazard. we had to constantly drop fresh chicken so those long waits you wonderful people waited on was us dropping chicken. it’s unfortunate when 1 person negative to a restaurant can affect the whole company. we were constantly short staffed im sorry when you get home from your perfect 9-5 job you expect every other environment to be like that. even when you know most of the staff is teenagers. i’m not saying we were perfect but please stop being so closed minded. i know i worked my hardest as a 16 year old to move quickly on my own to hand batter and flour every piece of chicken you guys wanted im thankful i had such an amazing job with such amazing people at my age. now for people saying we were closed due to people of color. you are honestly a disgusting human being i wish i knew who you were honestly and if i could reply to what you said and have a conversation with you i would love that. popeyes was an amazing first job for me even though every single day without fail someone wasn’t happy with the service, we were a family up there and we did what we could to provide the food we all know and love. at the end of the day i hope the 4 piece you waited on was the best chicken you have had. and always remember if the food is to “mediocre” for your taste buds then go to churches. thank you for reading and it’s 2023 people, racism isn’t...
Read moreFirst time we went food was amazing. A few weeks later I ordered my food and it was a large order. We pulled up to the window and the guy said it will be about 6 minutes. I proceeded to pull off to the side and waited. There was a lady in front of me who was also waiting on food. Thirty minutes go by and still no food. I thought to myself well the lady in front of me is still waiting so they are probably still behind. I get out of my car and start walking towards the door. The lady that was infront of me said, they handed me your order and they wanted me to give them the sandwiches back because they wanted to bring them to you and I told them you could not do that. I agreed with the lady and proceed inside. I spoke to the manager and told her I would like new sandwiches please. She said she would make them. They gave me two apple pies for my troubles and I went back to my car to wait for my order. Another 30 minutes go by and at this point I’m not happy. One of the workers walks up and said oh you are still waiting. I get out of my car walk back inside and told them I still haven’t received my food. And at this point I just want my 52 dollars back and go home. She gave me my money back and a couple of sandwiches and I left. Read moreI totally understand being short staffed. However, my visit with my family turned out to be a complete disaster. We'd been traveling from Destin, Florida SATURDAY afternoon when we pulled in for a afternoon lunch. We tried the drive through and was told there would be a 7 minute wait. We parked and went in to order our food. Popeyes was packed. It was announced that they were short staffed and asked that we be patient. Being patient isn't the issue. However, after placing our order we were never informed that there was a food shortage. We waited approximately 30 minutes for our food. While waiting, we were able to get our drinks. When our number was finally called, our order didn't consist of the fries for the kids order. The flounder fish sandwich was burnt to a crisp and very soggy. The fries came from a local grocery store. My son asked for a breast and received a thigh. My daughter asked for a refund because the order didn't reflect what we asked for. Needless to say, the attitude that was displayed didn't reflect Popeyes and it's brand! What was more frustrating is when the worker asked did we drink our beverages. After a 30 minute wait, you would think that drinking the beverages wouldn't be a problem. GOOD Customer Service in fast food industries doesn't exist. ...
