BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Anderson Township

In terms of taste, i have switched my favorite coffee place from Starbucks to BIGGBY! However, I really dislike the way they take credit cards at the drive-through window. Awkwardly having someone hand a credit card machine out the window is always puzzling to me—either purchase a movable arm to hold the machine (like McDonald’s) or have the person working the window take the card and run it. I’m a very social person, but for whatever reason, that interaction is painful as they try to hold their arm out while they wait for the card to read then remind you to either give (or deny) them a tip. CityBird does the same thing, and it makes my decisions between them and Cane’s a no-brainer now. This is literally my only complaint, but here’s hoping that mentioning it here will help the owner(s) see at least one person’s perspective of this...

I typically enjoy Biggby and the employees are always pleasant but today there was a girl working and she asked to take my order I politely said hang on please. She yelled “pull up to the box I can’t hear you” so I inched up and said I’m looking at your menu. I felt instantly awkward when I put in my order. I then pull up and had a coupon for a free drink to which has been taken before and she rudely handed it back and said I won’t take it. Sure that’s fine but the attitude wasn’t necessary. The food was good but a warning that it was extremely hot would’ve been nice as I burned myself trying to eat my bagel sandwich, coffee was okay just wish the lady was kinder after I’ve already had a rough day. Hope she’s patient with someone else because I felt so...

Cozy little place, quick service and nice workers.

My lack of stars solely is for the food and drink, which is a bummer. I was hoping to find a new place to grab coffee when I'm further down this way on beechmont.

I had a bagel and a mocha mocha (it's what it's called apparently). The bagel was textured more like a pretzel and the coffee was so sweet it was overwhelming. Usually in mocha you can taste the coffee, I may as well have gotten hot chocolate, though it was incredibly sweet even for a hot cocoa.
