This practice has really gone downhill during and after Covid 19. I have tried to be respectful and patient over 3 months of my contact lens trial but to no avail. The front desk staff wouldn't send or let me pick up lenses and they were very rude to top it all off. They wouldn't return phone calls and flat out lied about many things. I have been going to Dr. Hopkins for years and she is one of the best. She is good at what she does and is very sharp and in tuned to patient needs. Having said that, it doesn't seem like she is running her show anymore, but her rude manager is. On several ocassions I have called, emailed, and had my wife call to speak to make an appointment or at least speak to a doctor with no response at all. I have attempted to have a "no physical contact" approach only to be denied or dismissed. I have had to use other routes to have my patient needs be met. Only after reaching out to the doctor via Facebook was I able to get ANY help. The office is in need of either better technology or better staff to address patient needs in my opinion. One manger shouldn't dictate the care or lack there of their patients. I hope that this changes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe optometry services were good, as was the process for getting glasses fitted. However, if you're going here, be careful, because apparently the lenscrafters they reside inside of may accept your vision insurance, but that doesn't mean the optometrist will. They also don't provide good clarification of that fact, or tell you before the exam. I had my eye exam, and was told my insurance was okay. I had checked on lenscrafters website, and my insurance was in-network. However, I got a call the next day saying that actually it's not an insurance that the optometrist accepted and now I owe them the cost of the exam, which is quite frustrating, given how much glasses already cost. They could have said something before the exam, so I could have made an informed decision. They literally had my insurance card right in front of them, and they called me the next day saying that they knew my insurance wasn't acceptable, but that the receptionist "made a mistake." Even if my vision insurance was to changed to something they accepted, I wouldn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām giving you the highest marked because I hate these surveys. BUT. I was given my OLD prescription and almost ordered glasses with an outdated old prescription and that would have been a waste of hundreds of dollars. When I called it was just - oh, we printed off the old one I guess the new one wasnāt finalized, whatever that means. Iām disabled so now I have to get someone else to go get it. In addition, Dr. Hopkins asked someone to measure my PD. After she left me waiting while she helped someone get else she argued about any measurement because I wasnāt buying glasses that day. Then she took a call, turned her back and started answering someone elseās questions. When it became clear she wasnāt going to help me I just left. Super...
