HipBurger — Restaurant in Anderson

Im pretty generous with my 5 star reviews but I definitely dont see this place lasting. At least not the one here. The staff were fine and the food was just ok. I ordered 2 burgers and a nugget each with fries and a drink... it was all fresh and too hot and wrapped pourly to check the bag properly but I did notice a 3rd burger. I told the lady at the window and said im not sure this is mine I only had 2 burgers and a nugget. She politely took the bag and peaked inside and said no this is yours i put the nuggets and honey mustard in there myself so I know its there. I said are you sure she said yes and that I can keep the extra burger. I saw the honey mustard so took her word. Im guessing anyone reading has figured out that the nuggets weren't there. Had the burgers not had some odd sauce on it they'd of been just ok but even tho I asked for meat and cheese only they all had their special sauce as well. I know the employees were taught to wrap the food a certain way but that should also change because half wrapping a cheeseburger with all the fixins and placing in a bag with trays of unwrapped fries is just a mess. Wrapping the burger all the way and bagging better would help that. The food was fresh i will give them that but...

I'm typically not one to write reviews but this was beyond bad. For starters, we had ordered about 15 minutes before arriving to the restaurant. The 5-10 minute wait time was all for nothing however as when we arrived we still had to wait another 15 minutes before the order was ready. The entire staff looked like high schoolers. The girl behind the counter looked confused and untrained. Another girl from the back had walked around the counter to the drink machine and bumped my girlfriend and did not apologize. On top of all of this, the food was not good. It was cold when it was handed to me, the bacon cheeseburger didn't have bacon on it, the double cheeseburger was pink and undercooked, the order of fries tasted like bagged freezer fries from the grocery store and the portion sucked. The packaging for to go orders leaves food exposed to get even colder. The GRILLED chicken salad was greasy. How do you make a grilled chicken greasy?! And the shredded cheese tasted like chewing on plastic. And there seemed to be a flood in the kitchen near the prep area. It's not worth it AT ALL. I would rather have a burger from a stop-a-minit gas station than ever...

Chicken and fries were good. Hot and crispy. Fries need a little seasoning. Burger was a decent standard burger but was not hot when received. Shake was soupy and terrible. When I entered the person at the front was flustered but that is understandable as this is opening week. Definitely needed someone to help them though. Tried to put in my number for their rewards program but the cashier closed out the screen as I was doing it. Wait was roughly 15 minutes when there was 2 ahead of me and 5 or so through the drive through so not terrible but not fast either. I got the shake first and when I saw it was soup I waited for a turn at the counter then asked if they could please remake a shake thicker. A worker told me they are all like that the machine isn't working properly. No apology or attempt to switch it out or a free shake next time to make up for the known error. Fine to take a customers money with no warning about a supposed known broken machine. Employees seem either to not care or have contempt for...
