We purchased a Banana Split Cake for Labor Day. Unfortunately, after cutting the 4th slice, we found a piece of hair in between the layers. We were advised that proper precautions were taken by wearing hair nets which is great. It could have been an eyelash. However, that doesn't change the fact that hair was IN the cream not on top which is disgusting nonetheless. We advised the store with pictures of uneaten cake and the hair and haven't gotten a follow up response since we were advised of the hair net policy. An offer to replace the cake or issue a refund should have been extended instead of no longer responding to the complaint.

First and foremost, everyone was so kind and friendly. To be honest, we stopped in to look knowing the prices would be higher than just going to a grocery store, but we were looking for something special and for a special lady. We needed an Italian sweet Creme Cake, and the Sweetery came through for us. For around $25, we were able to order a small cake that was a perfect size for our needs, and boy, oh boy was it delicious! Handicapped parking out front, and to my surprise, they serve food too! Sandwich specials that include a cake slice and plenty of tables. There are also cakes and pies and a variety of cookies ready for purchase.

Amazing bakery! Wonderful service, Denise was very patient with me and helped recommend an amazing 12 cookies for me. My favorite was the heath bar cookie! A very tasteful chocolate flavor. There were a lot of people getting cakes and many other things. I recommend going here!!!! I came at the end of the day, the cookies were fresh and very rich in flavor.

The professionalism from the manager which is the owners son, is definitely non existent. I ordered an eggless cake for my grandson’s birthday party, which is 2 and has an egg allergy, yet the cake was still made with egg. When I addressed the issue the manager immediately got an attitude with me, stated I lied and never requested an eggless cake knowing my grandson has an egg allergy. In what world does that make sense. He immediately snatched the cake from the counter and offered to give me my deposit back. That was unacceptable bc the party was the same day. The cake was $120. I still paid for it even though my grand baby couldn’t eat the cake. I had to go to Greenville to get a personal cake made for him last min which was an additional $25. I only used this bakery this year bc I didn’t have a problem last year. I will never use them again. The manager was so focused on the bakery bc he had other customers he didn’t show a bit of compassion or empathy. I could’ve took the cake, fed it to my grand baby and ended up in the hospital or worse. Bad customer service and doesn’t seem to care about customers only money! To top it off the cake was leaning. It was not cute. A four layer cake that was leaning. I will never...

I saw a sign in the window advising to text to get 10% off my order. After attempting to place an online order it asked for a promo code. When I asked the staff what the code was an employee ripped her glasses off, of her head, and very angrily said she has no idea have to do that. When I asked who would know, she left, came back and said you need to place your order at the cashier stand. When I asked if I would get my 10% off at the register she practically yelled at me no! I asked who she spoke with in the back. She said it was Ryan, the owners son. She said he’s too busy to come out and speak with me. To the most important part, the food. In the past I had eaten there a lot. I like to try new places. However, when my daughter suggested we go, I was happy too! I got the French dip. The bread was extremely chewy. The roast beef and au jus were cold. It was such an unpleasant mess that I ended up throwing most of it in the trash. I was not about to go round 3 with the awful employee. If you decide to dine there after this review, you will certainly get just what I did. Nasty food, and...

On Tuesday I stopped in for the first time in a very long time to purchase to-go lunches for my mother and I. It was past the lunch rush hour and there was only one person waiting for their order. I ordered two chicken salad sandwiches on croissants (an additional .60 each charge) and began waiting. After about ten minutes, one of the ladies told me that there was only one croissant roll. I told her sourdough would suffice. I waited approximately another 5 minutes. Finally, my order was ready. I thought they might offer to refund the extra charge for the croissant or even throw in a cookie or two to compensate, but they didn’t. Once home, my mother and I dug into our sandwiches. I was so very disappointed in the look as well as the taste of the chicken salad. On two occasions, I had bites with gristle in them. I threw out more than half of my sandwich. I enjoyed the pickle and chips. Wait time and chicken salad recipe needs...
