I work at sake zen as a server and I guess I thought Sakuras tempura and eel sauce would taste the same but I was mistaken. I took one bite and realized I didn't like the food at all. I asked the cashier if it would be possible to get a refund and he said he would have to ask the manager. The manager returned with him, I told her my issue and she bluntly told me no, I could not have my money back no matter what the problem was because the shrimp was already cooked. First time. Not at all what we expected. It's a walk up to the counter and order then pick it up when they call your number kind of place, which isn't bad. Just not what we expected. The review is for the tastelessness of the food. I had filet & shrimp teriyaki - very little flavor in the dish at all. I ordered and payed for a chicken and rice plate but when my food was brought to the table there was no chicken. I took it up to the counter and let them know. They nice young girl at the counter told me that they were very sorry and would have it fixed, as she said that the manager/owner whatever she is ran up and told me that I had to pay for the chicken.
