Milestone Soul Food — Restaurant in Anderson

Today I got baked chicken and it was dry and tough. Macaroni and cheese and it was dry with hardly any cheese in it. More noodles than anything. Meatloaf that was burnt and dried out. Red Velvet cake that was crunchy and dry. Like it had been there for a week. My entire meal was absolutely ridiculous and disappointing. Now I see why they NEVER have much business. When you drive by. The parking lot is always empty, and for GOOD reason. I throwed my plate in the trash. We just wasted $23 on some B.S. I will never step foot back in Milestone Restaurant again. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very disappointed with my meal. I'm surprised that they haven't gone out of business yet. They are always advertising their food on social media. Believe me when i say that looks are deceiving. It looks good by appearance. Don't waste your hard earned money!...

This is was my family and I first time visiting there. We were ordering our food to go. From the time we stepped foot in the door until the time we left the hospitality was phenomenal. This black owned family business makes you feel welcomed and appreciated for being there. They are a meat and 3 style soul food restaurant and their menu selections vary from day to day. We ordered white and dark meat chicken with mac&cheese, greenbeans, cabbage, fried okra, peach cobbler, and some lemon pound cake. We ate everything but the plate. The food quality was good overall, but not excellent. The smothered pork chop was tender and juicy, and the gravy was flavorful. The green beans were crisp and fresh, and the sweet potato casserole was creamy and sweet. The meatloaf was moist and well-seasoned, and the pinto beans were soft and hearty. However, the collard greens were a little too salty for my taste. The portion size for carryout was too small for the price. The service was friendly and efficient. The staff greeted me warmly when I arrived at the restaurant, and they processed my order quickly. They packed the food neatly and securely.
