Ate here tonight. Was quite disappointed. Not many people in the restaurant at all. Waited an hr on our food. Was told 45 minutes in to it that they had a big to go order but we were sitting by the bar where to go orders were taken. No big orders. During this time I went to the restroom that is downstairs by the kitchen. Sounded like a rap concert going on in the kitchen. Have no problem with rap. But whether it’s rap or rock or anything else. You can’t communicate in a kitchen with music that loud. And when we finally did get our food, you might think that they would make sure our food was right. Nope. My medium done steak was well done. My wife’s fries with her wrap were obviously not fresh and lukewarm at best. They were still going to give us the tab for full price (knowing we had sat there forever for our food and got food we would have gotten better at a fast food restaurant). But when she noticed I took one bite off of my steak and didn’t want a box, she finally asked if I wanted her to take the steak off? I run a restaurant and would have completely compt anyone’s meal that comes in my restaurant and sits that long for food. She comes back after talking to the manager and they take half off of our bill. I left eating the salad. My wife ate a couple of bites off her wrap. Just because she was so hungry. I...

We were staying across the street at the Bleckleyin and had just come from dropping our freshman daughter off at Clemson. We were exhausted and stressed out and just wanted to eat in our room but didn’t want fast food. We placed a take-out order and I was so tired that I couldn’t figure out how to order an extra baked potato so the manager assisted me when I called the restaurant and was so kind and helpful. We ordered a salmon salad and a salmon dinner with a side order of comfort food in the way of an additional baked potato, and some macaroni and cheese. The baked potatoes were fabulous and crusted with salt just the way they should be! Also, something notable was that they put the salmon for the salad in a separate container. Not all restaurants take the time to do this and it is really appreciated because by the time you eat the salad when you get take out, the whole salad is hot. So kudos to Raines for that. It really is the little things. The macaroni and cheese was awesome and so cheesy and really made us feel a little better. I don’t know what their secret is but it is very good! I would love to come back and go to this restaurant another time when we can sit inside and eat. Highly...

I went here with my two daughters. I asked about getting deposit back on party that never happened bc of corona. My daughter started to say something and he said her "I'm not talking to you we raise our hand to talk around here"... I didn't think much of it as I figured maybe he was joking. The he came back with his reservation book. My daughter, once again went to speak and he said to her "again, I wasn't talking to you. My grown child teared up, mad and embarrassed. I told him to walk away, twice. He said to me" get beat up"... At this point I'm showing my tail about to straight up fight this lil punk. Mind you this was a MANAGER! I tell GM and he said he'll talk to him. This boy (and I mean boy) will be the demise of this place. I will be contacting owner and discussing further action. The food was OK and our waiter was great. This was my second time here and last time. The first time, the food was cold and nasty, I sent it back and didn't even order anything else. So 3 customers...

My family and I traveled from Mississippi to visit family in a local hospital. We stayed at a hotel across the street. One night I took my son over and loved everything. Pickle fries, chicken fettuccine, pot roast melt sandwich, bird dog, loaded potato and fries. All was so good I convinced two cousins to come back the next day 12pm on a Saturday. They were a Lil busy. We may of waited about 30 mins and it was worth the wait. I got the pot roast melt again and it did not disappoint 😋 they also have pool tables for 6 an hour and decent music playing. They do charge 3% charge on credit cards which shows up as a facility fee on the receipt but most places charge the customer the fee the card company will charge them.

So this evening my wife and I decided to try out Raines on Main . It was wonderful. The food was so good. We had a sampler appetizer with Mushrooms, pickles, shrimp popers ( like an jalapeño popers but with shrimp instead of jalapeños. And OMG awesome) and egg rolls. It was all really good . Then Jennifer got the blacken Mahi and I had the Porterhouse Pork and they both was just out of this world good. The food was well worth the price and actually very cheap for what we had. Most everything is $12 or lower. If you haven't been there it's a must go in Anderson.
