Read moreI hate writing a poor review, especially for such a new restaurant, but all I can recommend is to improve.
We visited today for brunch. The staff was friendly, the view wasn't bad but the food completely missed the mark.
Our waiter was attentive but not knowledgeable on the menu. When asked what the seasonal ravioli is, we received a hesitant "lobster, I think."
The food and beverages are overpriced and way under par. If you're charging almost $14 for a tiny margarita, I should see pulp in my glass. We started with the deviled eggs. These were flavorless for the most part, and the one that had seasoning was so covered that it left an unforgiving taste of paprika in your mouth. The double "smash" burger was nothing more than a double cheeseburger on an over sized bun. The patties were cooked well done and so dry they almost crumbled. When I ordered, I had requested the truffle fries and received the plain instead. This was corrected, and I must say the truffle fries were the best part of the meal.
Overall, we had a poor experience, but we will give it another shot at a later date, so please do better.
Update__ Our group was invited back after our not so good experience. We went for dinner, and I must admit the food was much better, but it was not consistent. Our appetizers were spot on. We had the charcuterie board and fried Brussels. I had the pork chop, which was fantastically cooked. The other pork chop served at our table was overcooked. The burger I saw served at another table was still not a smash burger as described on the menu as well, and the patties are half the size of the bun.
Our waitress, Kassandra, was absolutely phenomenal. Very personable and knowledgeable on their menu.
I don't see this as a place we'll frequent but possibly visit once in a while due to the quality, consistency, and price of the...
Read moreI hate writing bad reviews but tonight my husband and I were very disappointed. $110 gets you two entrees and three drinks, which isn’t horrible however the entrees had very small portions and both proteins were VERY over cooked. We got the Hang-tenderloin and the waiter said “that usually comes out medium rare, is that alright?” We said yes, perfect, and it came out just shy of BURNT well done, and only about 4-5 oz. of meat!! It was tough and came with maybe four tablespoons of corn as a side and a smear of some sort of vegetable spread which tasted fine, however there should have been more corn and meat though for $29. The next entree we got was the trout. The trout was a slightly larger entree with two thin filets, however they were cooked crispy (tough) and VERY salty. Do not order if you cannot handle salt. There was surprisingly a lot more corn with the trout dish, about a half cup, and a few fingerling potatoes that were cooked well. I’m not sure the issue with the portions but I hope for $29 and $25 they figure it out. Lastly, our server made us feel rushed while ordering (we had never been before and needed time to look at the menu, he came over 2-3 times in a matter of 4 minutes to see if we had decided yet, then after we ordered and got our drinks he disappeared! We ran out of water quickly since the glasses are small, and someone else ended up delivering our food. He finally came around about 10 minutes after we were finished eating and set the bill on the table and asked if we wanted dessert. Set the bill on the table before asking if we were even finished, seemed very rushed. The place was empty too, and so many servers I don’t understand why our server was so rushed. I’d like to give this place a try again but I doubt I’ll be back. Only reason for 2 stars is the drinks and...
