I hesitate to write this review especially at this time of year but I am extremely disappointed and not feeling great about giving this food to my family for Xmas. First of all I ordered from the website menu and when I picked the food up it was quite a bit more than expected. When I questioned them I was told that hadn’t had a chance to update the website. I was in the holiday spirit so no big deal I let it go. Until I got home and opened everything up. Antipasto was something I could have done myself for 1/2 the price. The chicken they used for the parm was pre made cutlets, thick and all the same size/shape. Meatballs are tiny and also pre made frozen. Again all exactly uniform. I had really high hopes for this place. The owners are from the Everett area and me being from East Boston/Revere finally thought I found an Italian sub like back home.. it was light on meat and fixings. I've come to accept people around here have no idea what good food is. If you're ever in Revere or that area, go to New Deal Fruit on Broadway and order an Italian. I went in here last Sunday as I was leaving an appointment across the street. As soon as I walked in, I knew this place was legit. There are so many sandwich shops around that sell "Italian" subs but there are not too many that serve with real meats. Most I have found load up the bologna. These cuts were excellent and tasted amazing - real capicola, mortadella and salami. Veggies were fresh and nicely cut. The employees inside were friendly and struck up a good quick chat as they were making the sandwich. I will definitely return to try...
