This place is great , extremely professional, friendly and very clean. Service is very prompt. The lady who cut my hair was very friendly. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because I did not get what I really wanted. I wanted a simple hair trim with a focus on my split hair ends to be gone. I have split hair ends in between my layers. Maybe they are difficult to find but I insisted to the lady to focus on getting my split hair ends trimmed. She did look into it but I wished she had spent more time on that rather than styling /drying /curling my hair which I did not need. I came home and showered (because of covid times) and washed all my style away anyways.

Long story short, I am checking my hair now and still have a lot of split hair ends. So all that money was wasted! Next time I may go again to Salon Invi but definitely would ask for a different hair stylist. Nothing against the salon but not happy with what I got today!

Unbelievable service here! After I posted my review above, the salon tracked and called me the next day to ask me what was I unhappy about . They gave me an option of either a full refund or another visit with same stylist or another visit with a different hair stylist. I was very shocked and honestly I was also a little embarrassed. I went there the next day and got a super duper above 5 star treatment!!! The lady Nikki was super awesome and so is the owner Chris. Nikki spent a lot of in hair consultation and then gave me a very nice hair treatment, all free of charge! She took care of my split hair ends as much as possible. The owner Chris is one of the nicest , polite , and client friendly person that I had ever encountered. Honestly I was feeling terrible about my initial review but Chris assured me that it is totally fine. I don’t think 5 star hotels have treated me this nicely ever! This will be my to go to place from now on! I would recommend to anyone out there Salon Invi is the place to go to if you want to be treated royally!!!!!! Thank you Chris and your super awesome...

I’m extremely disappointed with the service and quality of the treatment that I received here. I came to this salon to receive a treatment that I’ve had many times in the past, a Brazilian blowout. Whatever treatment the stylist gave me certainly was NOT that. The woman cutting my hair insisted repeatedly that I needed to cut a lot of my length off, and although I didn’t feel comfortable with doing so, she insisted again that she would not perform the treatment without this significant cut. She took more than four inches off and the result is just shocking. This is more than unacceptable and unprofessional, it’s personally degrading to see what they’ve done to my hair. My hair is now short and more frizzy and fluffy than ever before, which is the complete opposite effect you would expect from this kind of treatment. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere before coming to this Salon. I came here because the reviews are so great, I never would have expected the kind of experience I actually got when I came in. Just flat out sad.

UPDATE The owner was kind enough to reach out to me from his personal phone number. He apologized for the experience that I had and offered to re do my hair himself 30 ish minutes to closing which I really appreciated. I am changing my one star rating to 5 stars because of his willingness to make things right. My hair is a lot less frizzy and definitely softer this time around.The first picture was from the first time I got it done, and the second picture was taken when I left the salon the second time! This type of customer service is what I appreciate from businesses....

I’ve never left a review for anything before but for Camilla I had to ! Let me tell you hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. A little background on myself I’m Afro Latina & currently living in the Lowell area (emphases on the Afro part) so I normally wouldn’t go into the Andover area for hair care I only go to the Lawrence area because they specialize on my hair type but Camilla reassured me that I’m in good hands and she was right ! Besides being beautiful inside and out she did a phenomenal job. She made me feel really comfortable about my hair. I got a balayage, cut and a blow dry. The pricing was affordable & reflected the work. The color is exactly how I wanted it, she didn’t cut too much of my hair just the right amount and the blow dry was perfect. The receptionist was professional, helpful and sweet. I called super last minute and she was able to schedule me within the hour. Camilla’s assistant was really sweet as well. Overall amazing experience I really enjoyed meeting Camilla she is just amazing at her job and has a phenomenal personality. My only regret is not tipping her more I only had about 40 dollars in cash(tips are accepted via Venmo, check or cash) so when I come back I’ll remind myself.
