UBURGER — Restaurant in Andover

Uburger is usually a great experience-in terms of but tonight (2/28/23) they really missed the mark in terms of delivery timeliness and food quality. The initial delivery estimate was 6:55pm and the order was continually delayed until the estimate reached 7:40pm. I called the location and asked to have the delivery cancelled and I would pick it up myself. As I was driving to pick up the food, Uburger called and said the driver had just picked up the food and was on his way to deliver it. They finally showed up at my home at 7:45. The food was cold by this point as it had been prepared over an hour ago! I asked to speak to their manager about the poor service and was told the manager was not there. However, when I called again to complain about the food, the person who answered the phone said she would speak to their manager and I could call them back in a few minutes. The person I spoke to at Uburger was not able to resolve the issue and I was passed off to their manager who was expected to call me back since he or she was not on site that evening. One of the perks of my job is that I get to work all over and every now and then I come across burger joints I would never find on my own. This place is one of them. What a gem! Tucked right in the corner of a plaza strip they serve the best fries you can find in a 50 miles radius, me personally I don’t remember having better fries than this one, honestly. Crispy, dry and tasty, I can’t put into words how delicious these fries are, you gotta taste it, to be honest this was my very first visit and I hope they can replicate well so you can have the same experience I just did. As I placed my order for a Ucheeseburger with bacon I noticed in the back a sink filled with water and potato skin so I assume they cut the fresh fries every day, no wonder they’re so good. If it was possible to give these guys zero stars I would. Went there for a chicken sandwich and a burger both where DISGUSTING! The chicken was burnt and sour, the burger was greasy tasteless and just completely unacceptable. My wife called the management to complain, and they could not have been RUDER!!! The repose was "We can't do anything, it happens." Actually there is a lot you can do about it, and you can start by not treating us with disrespect. You can remake my food and not burn it, you could offer me credit towards my next meal in the HOPE that you cooks give two cents next time, or you could give me a refund and not just prove that you don't care about your customers.
