Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Andover

Long time drinker, first time reviewer. I wanted to commend the two ladies working on 7 Aug '23 @ noon. I went through and ordered two smooties. I was told to pull up to the window for my total and as I'm sitting there waiting for the window to open, I see a lady walk in front of my car heading in the direction of the Dillions gas station. About three minutes later, I still haven't been greeted at the window, and I see the same girl walking back in the direction of Scooters lugging 20 lbs of ice. As she's crossing back in front of my car, there are a couple of kids on bikes that nearly clip her as these little a$&holes fly by without any regard for her. Just as she disappears from view, the drive-thru windows comes to life and I'm greeted apologetically and with enthusiasm by the other employee. She proceeds to tell me that the reason for the wait is because they didn't have enough ice to make the smoothies because their ice machine was extremely slow in producing said item. This had me rolling with laughter, but I was also grateful, because they could have easily told me that their ice machine was down or something else, but in my opinion, they went above and beyond for a couple of smoothies. So thank you soo much, you will not be forgotten. Also, to Scooters mgmt, please consider springing for another ice machine or having a diagnostic run on the current ice machine so that your employees don't have to risk life and limb for a couple...

So hit and miss! I went this morning and bought 2 drinks; Both were sad. I had gotten the Blueberry Redbull Infusion and an Iced Carmelicious. My Blueberry Redbull Infusion, ended up being a Cherry Redbull Infusion after taking a sip. The sad emoji spread across my face as I slurped down an expensive drink that I didn't want. As for the Carmalicious, at first they forgot that it came with whipped cream and a carmel drizzle. Do they really think I went to Scooters and paid 6.50 for a coffee that tastes like a generic folgers coffee ypu might find in a supermarket aisle? No I say! After I had gotten it corrected (the way it is supposed to come by default), I had brought it home to my wife. She took one sip and asked me if I had gotten it from out if the fridge. The last time we went to scooters, by the way, was last week. I tasted it and sure enough, it tastes at least a few days old. Not the experience you expect when buying premium priced drinks at a well known...

The coffee is not good. Sure, anything with a bunch of sugar and whipped cream mixed into it tastes good. I'm talking about the coffee. If you get it black and it tastes terrible it means the coffee and/or the brewing process is bad. Everything's overpriced. Two coffees, a breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich was more than $25.00 after tip. All the food is shipped prepackaged and just microwaved. If you want a breakfast sandwich without egg, they're unable to remove the egg from the sandwich before heating it. You're getting that egg!
