Any comment: Yesterday, while traveling...the following happen to us while in Angel Fire, New Mexico. My husband was aggressively pushed by someone we had never seen at a restaurant and called a pig for having a Trump hat on. The guy who pushed was asked to leave. This was at Enchanted Circle Brewery, Crazy thing was we were there with 8 children and 4 adults .. laughing and having a great time. Then this morning at The Bakery and Cafe at Angel Fire ( we are traveling with 12 people and we were at an outside diner) in line to be seated...told that we had to stand 6 feet apart from our family members, we complied, then told to have our masks on until we got to the table ( outside) , which we did...sat outside at two tables ( because we were not allowed to be together.) Then she came back out and said we had to wear masks until they took out order...which we did....then we just sat for 20 mins..while the staff talked about us.....at which point the rudest one came over and said you are welcome...2 at a time to go order to go...I asked why we ,ere not being served...she said were being refused because we were rude. However, Mike had his Trump hat in and we had Texas Plates...we complied with every silly rule she kept coming up with.respectully. We left...not getting...

The service was terrible. We had people come in after us and get their food before us. We had to ask multiple times if our food was almost ready and the waitress acted like we were an inconvenience to her. They were out of almost everything and the waitress joked when she came to take our order by saying, "we're out of... well everything." She proceeded to go on and on about what they were out of. We finally asked what they did have. We waited almost an hour for our food and when they brought it they had changed my friends order without telling us because they ran out of what she had ordered while we were waiting for it. One waitress even came over to us and asked how you spell disappointment and then kept joking with customers that were frustrated with the wait saying "this is a disappointment... haha"." Nobody found it funny. I will not be...

When i walked in, they ignored us for a minute or two.. As i wait waiting for them to say something to me, i looked around to check out the available seating. There were 2 tables of 6 open, and a couple of smaller tables. When she finally said something to me, I Then asked if they were able to seat a bigger party (She just stared at me like i was crazy). I told her we had 16 people. All she said was "No".

I know that the bakery is small, but seems like they would want the business when clearly there WAS enough room at the time we walked in to eat.

They were not that friendly.

I used to love going here to eat for years.. The staff used to be super nice. Not sure what happened. This experience just ruined...

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price: ~$12 per person including tip Opens daily from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm. Very attentive service, they offer complementary donuts holes once you sit, it has a warm and homie feeling. Average per person was about $12 including tip. they have limited seating, but available for groups up to 8. Food takes a bit longer than usual to come out. One bathroom gender neutral it didn’t look sparkling clean, but it was good though. it’s a great option for breakfast in town!

Excellent breakfast, although you have to go before 11 am to get hash brown potatoes. The diced ones are just as good. I had the huevos rancheros with a side of sausage. They were awesome. This place is a must! Great service from a great staff. The place is clean and comfortable. UPDATE! 8-26-2023, Great everything...breakfast / brunch. Omelet, salad, corn dog, eggs, bacon, etc. My family loved this place. Come one, come all and enjoy.

The Jason's Special burger was juicy and one of the best burgers I've had in awhile. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals as well. Friendly staff. We were unable to try the bakery section this visit. However, from overhearing other's orders, sounds like it would also be delicious.
