I had only $11.59 in my Google Pay and needed to keep the price to that amount or under while getting the most possible, (duh) which after a couple additions and subtractions, the very patient food service clerk kindly helped make it RIGHT under at $11.84. Or so I thought....I ended up being .25 cents short after tax. So, while I dug through my purse to find that pesky .25 cents, and offering a detailed commentary on my findings, apologizing for holding up the line, the food clerk did not make me feel rushed or stupid as I came up with a palm full of what I can only assume is every woman's bottom of the purse junk; receipts, dirty pennies, a hair tie and a single lint covered hot tamale candy, which I held on my open hand and stated to the clerk something along the lines of; I'm assuming he didn't want that instead. We both laughed, and he said "spicy candy" with a smile and a laugh, to which I replied, "I'm a spicy candy!" His reaction told me that our brief interaction and my goofiness and playful but hurried demeanor gave him a genuine and needed laugh. And as I handed him the .25 cents I had scrounged up, he laughed and said, "You get it!" After which I offered what I believed was a witty anecdote about never knowing the things one could find in the bottom of a womans purse and we each chuckled as I drove my way to the second window and the food clerk resumed his duties of receiving the orders of the next customers in a long and growing longer line. The brief exchange we shared, which end to end, was likely less than 2 and a half minutes lightened my mood after a very long, tiring, and difficult day. As I made my way out of the parking lot with my order riding shotgun, I found myself still smiling. The young man at the window was professional friendly and offered an unhurried attitude while I scrambled to come up with the last .25 cents needed to complete the process, all while continuing to take the incoming orders AND connect with me through a quick laugh over a stale, dirt and other unknown debris coated, long misplaced and forgotten hot tamale candy stuck to an old penny from the depths of my purse. What may have just been a semi routine interaction for the food clerk actually made a difference in how I saw and experienced my day. A little bit of kindness and patience with a helping of authentic human connection really can touch someone in unexpected ways. Unfortunately, not all exchanges and interactions with others, especially due to the brief time of contact, that we experience day to day include or end up in a positive, meaningful exchange. But tonight, a quick detour to grab some easy, cheap fast food to avoid my hardworking honey or I having to cook after a long and tiresome Wednesday litteraly...
Read moreI don’t know what to say about this, but everything on the menu seams to increase in price. Service is rushed and standard practices are always lacking and that is a huge half part of the issue. The quality of the food is sad, lukewarm, poorly constructed, basic ingredients for a product to look like it was dropped from a 2 story window and then bag it up for your consumption. Fries costing almost 4 dollars with tax for a large portion and a gas station seams fresher version of them. It really comes out slow, lousy, cold, messy goo of a sandwich, and cost of a average restaurant meal. If you spend 15 dollars on a fast food combo and you get a 4th grade constructed meal, you ask why. How can this be fixed. Staff activities are very immature, slow, not complicated as the food is all the same 8 or less ingredients and made the same fashion. Even at a slow pace the food looks like it was tossed in mid air and then wrapped and placed in a bag. So I’m not sure what to say. 14 min later after a order is placed, charged 15 bucks about, and get a tossed Salad on a bun, cold fries, and a premium drink with a whatever attitude as it’s sitting on the counter waiting for the customers pick up that was not called out or quickly cleared off the board . I had my receipt and had to ask the staff if this was my order and waiting on a group conversation response of ignoring the front counter or who is standing there waiting for any human reply. So this is how my money is being used at this restaurant and hope your experience is hopeful better then my experience, but it gets worse as I come back monthly and no change but for the worst . Stopping at other places until this gets resolved and I get the same meal at the same price , better service, and hot decent constructed food and I’m done in about the same time. Just a heads up on how your establishment is compared to other places. Hope it gets...
Read moreI went through the drive-thru to get breakfast this morning. They had me pull around and park. I was sitting there for over 10 minutes before walking inside to see where my food was. I told the girl I had been waiting outside for 10 minutes. She gave me attitude about how they were working on the mcmuffins. Finishing it with a passive-aggressive, hun. I told her she didn't need to give me attitude. When a customer comes in wondering why it's taking so long, you apologize for the wait and see what the progress is. Not give the customer attitude. I will no longer pull around and park for your fake drive thru times. You're going to know you're performing poorly. And you will get in trouble with your managers. All because your people have no customer service. Over 10 MINUTES. I watched guys walk in and eat and come out the same time I did. The manager guy did nothing....
