Good start but needs work. Everything in general was okay but it could be improved. The chicken cutlet didn’t taste like it was cooked recently. Although they did give us a good portion of it - it did not have much flavor and there were parts of it that were a little tough. They need to pound out the chicken cutlets before cooking so that they are more tender. Also, there wasn’t much to the sandwich -it was mostly just the chicken cutlet. The cold sub we had a great flavor, but for the price point I feel like it was definitely lacking in toppings. I do like how they super thinly sliced the lettuce and onions. I feel like had they added more toppings the price point would be a little bit justified. The third sub we ordered was for our kids and it was just a turkey and provolone sandwich. We paid $50 for three sandwiches and no drinks. I guess part of the price is because they say they import the bread from New York. In general, I thought it was good but for the price, especially in Angier, I think it’s a decent amount overpriced.

Finally, a real New York style sun shop. The bread is flown in from NYC, and the ingredients are made fresh every morning. This place is a must try if you want a real Italian sub.

I recently visited Giuseppe's, and I have to say, their subs are absolutely amazing! This Italian market really knows how to load up a sandwich. The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted, and they didn’t hold back on the fillings. I got the American sub, and it was packed with quality meats, cheeses, and all the delicious toppings you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Every bite was a perfect balance of flavors. The best part is that they offer a variety of subs, so whether you like something classic or more adventurous, you’ll find something to satisfy your cravings. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are top-notch, making it clear that they take pride in what they serve. Aside from the fantastic subs, the market has a great selection of Italian goods, so you can grab a few extras while you’re there. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area – you won’t be disappointed!

I rarely leave negative reviews, Especially for a small-town family-run business, but unfortunately I shall today. First off, my sample size is small, so I might've just gotten the wrong sandwich on the wrong day. Judging from the other reviews (which is mostly why I tried this eatery), I probably should give them another try and simply get something else. But today my wife & I ordered an Ozone Park hot sub to split and 2 canoli's. The sandwich was barely a 2/5, the canoli a solid 4/5, thus the 3 stars for food. The sandwich was not cold. That's it. It's the only good thing I can say. We picked it up freshly made, so we ate a warm sub...that's what kept it from being a 1/5. Warmth. Otherwise...I won't go on for paragraphs hammering the point home. I try to be positive, there's just little here to go on. The hero bread was just okay, the chicken cutlets were mostly like eating shoe leather except for the very center bite and the moz was sadly very sparse at best. Seasoning & sauce was okay, if only it hadn't been on a couple of virtually inedible cutlets. Also, I gave 3 stars for the service because it was a pick-up order and apparently they ran out of regular canoli shells. So, we got 1 chocolate canoli & a couple cookies because "it evened out the price". No choice of what cookies....it was just...bizarre. we paid the same price as 2 regular canoli's, sure, but didn't get what we hoped for, nor a discount for getting what we didn't want or even get to pick from. However, the chocolate canoli was good enough for me to be certain that a regular canoli from this place would in fact be delicious!! I'm just not one for chocolate shell, but the filling was spot on. An unfortunate experience, a bad sandwich, but I'll give it another shot...with different...

Don't waste your time or money! We recently tried this place after looking for a sub shop that had good reviews. Boy, were we disappointed! First off, the place is really small with only a few tables. The tables that were empty had not been cleaned off. The little girl taking our order acted like she was less than thrilled to be working and had the personality of a sign post. Ok, maybe she was having a bad day. So we ordered and our food took slightly longer than we would have expected considering they weren't that busy for a Saturday afternoon. Maybe that should have been our red flag? My husband and I both agreed the bread tasted old and on the verge of being stale. I ordered the Middle Village sandwich. It was without a doubt the worst sub I have ever eaten! The chicken was pre cooked pieces that had been sitting out too long and was dry and tough. I paid $13.50 for a sandwich I couldn't eat. I ate my chips (purchased separately) and that was my lunch. My husband ordered a cold deli sub made his way. He complained mostly that the bread tasted stale. Also, they don't serve pasta dishes at lunch, only dinner. Our total bill after ordering 2 sandwiches, 2 teas, and 1 bag of chips was $36.63! Never again! We could have done better at Subway and we both hate Subway sandwiches. If you visit this place after reading this review, you deserve...
