I gave this Dairy Queen 1 star only because 0 stars isn’t an option. The few times we’ve decided to go to this DQ have always been a bad experience. We went through the drive thru to get a small and a large Reese’s outrageous blizzard. The lady through the speaker told us they don’t make that blizzard anymore but the blizzard was still advertised on the drive thru menu. So that was very disappointing. So I asked for a moment to decide what we wanted since what they had advertised was not available. I also asked for the blizzards to have lids on them. The lady told me my total while laughing through the speaker. I got to the window and the lady took my payment. She handed me the first blizzard which the lid was not even attached to the cup and the blizzard was over filled and leaking all over the cup. I used to be a store manager for DQ and I know the blizzards are only supposed to be filled a quarter of an inch below the rim of the cup so leaking can be prevented. The lady at the drive thru window yelled to the chill area employee “hey hurry up with that second blizzard they’ve been here for 5 minutes already!” First of all if you would have unavailable product advertised on your menu maybe this wouldn’t have happened. Anyways, The second blizzard had the lid attached but was over filled and leaked all over as well. We will not be returning to this DQ and I strongly advise no one else does either. It’s sad because we love DQ and this store and it’s employees make DQ look bad. Do not waste your time going to this DQ...
Read moreLobby was closed due to staff shortage but that's a different topic all together. Drive through service was horrible. I expected to wait due to staff issues but the problem was the attitude of the drive through employee. She was blunt and rude from the beginning of the order process all the way until I drove off. No thank you for waiting, thank you for your business, enjoy your food or anything! She handed me my chili cheese fries and said be careful with the bottom because it was evident the paper container was collapsing and could blow out. Didn't offer me anything to help with the situation. The bag it was sticking out of was already ripping from how wet it was as well. I know those that are actually working right now are filling the shoes of several employees, not only here but everywhere. However, you still have a responsibility to your employer to do a good job and give service as you would want to be given. Thankfully I was going home and managed to dump my food into a bowl otherwise it would have made a horrible mess in my vehicle and lap. By then I had to rewarm it in the microwave. Best part of the experience was at least it tasted ok. Update: My debit card has now been compromised after using it here today. Someone attempted to make a purchase without the card. Luckily my bank was on top of this and declined the fraud...
Read moreMy hubby and I occasionally get a hankering for ice cream and we opt for Dairy Queen, given it's reputation. We've gotten our frozen treats here three times total and honestly it's just not worth it. If you're looking for something frozen and sweet go down the road to Sonic instead, I'm sure you'll find it's much better. Not only does this location not have everything presented on their online menu (via their website), but it's almost as if the ones making these treats are rushed and annoyed. We ordered a sunday and I kid you not there was probably over a cup of whole peanuts, like 5 peanuts in every bite. It seems like someone was feeling rushed and literally just dumped them in. Definitely not pleasant. We don't come here often but it's been...
