Taco Bell — Restaurant in Angleton

I went through the drive through and sat there for five minutes so I thought the drive through wasn’t working so I walked in and the lady was leaned up against the counter in front of the screen on her cell phone! I told her I thought the drive through was messed up and that since she was on her cell phone that’s why she didn’t hear the beep and then she proceeded to tell me I was rude for pointing out what she was doing wrong instead of apologizing for her wrong doing and then she told me to order on the kiosk that she wasn’t taking my order and so then I asked her name she said don’t worry about it so I left and went back through the drive through and she had the voice automated take my order so she could go get back on her cell phone and rudely and forcefully handed me my drink and food so I called the manager guy that was working and told him about it and then tried to tell me it was the drive throughs fault and did not apologize and would not give me the store number or give me his name he said he was a new manager and wouldn’t give out his name but I do know the lady name in the drive through was crystal s because it says it on the receipt but for her and the manager to treat customers like that is uncalled for and not professional at all I mean if your going to work as a manager you need to have professional customer service skills and if your working the drive through you shouldn’t be on your phone you should be doing your job I really hope the next time I come eat here that they no longer work there because I’d fear they would do something to peoples food and possibly hurt some one with the aggression that I experienced in the store today by both the manager and crystal s I would love for a real adult manager contact me and get this resolved asap because Monday I will be...

I had three bad experiences in a row, so now I’m comfortable sharing a negative review because I know they weren’t isolated incidents. This is an obvious pattern of mismanagement.

I used to come here several times a month as it is one of the nearest restaurants to my house. Service was usually reasonably good and I’d never had issues with the food. I usually use the app to order.

My first issue a couple of months ago was with an item that I’d ordered in the app but when I got to the store they were out of it. I didn’t really want anything else so I asked for a refund on the item. They really tried to pester me into getting something else. After a few minutes of persistence eventually a manager came to the window and refunded the item and gave me a coupon for a free taco.

I had a similar issue several weeks later: I ordered something in the app but they were out of it when I got to the store. They offered me an item of lesser value as a substitution. I told them I’d be willing to accept an item of greater value, but I wouldn’t take the item of lesser value without a partial refund. They brought me the item of lesser value anyways. I asked for a refund and argued with them until they eventually they brought out the greater value item we’d agreed on and the manager gave me another coupon for a free taco.

Today I wanted to try the new chicken nuggets. I didn’t order in the app. They didn’t have the chicken nuggets. I ordered two tacos. I tried to pay with the two coupons they’d given me from their prior mishaps. I was told they couldn’t accept the coupons. So I drove off and don’t think I’ll...

While ordering there as usual they don’t have the ice tea next to the other drinks. You have to wait for someone to fill your drink for you. In this time of Covid it makes me a bit nervous having a stranger fill my cup. Like a good citizen I waited for someone to be available to fill my cup with unsweetened tea. When someone did finally come my ice was partially melted. He grabbed my cup…was gone for a few seconds and returned with what I can only describe as watered down mustard water. Told the young man that, that was not tea to which he responded that it was. I reassured him that it was not to which he grabbed my cup threw it in the garbage. Gave me a new cup and said there was no tea! I then ask for napkins and mild sauce and was told there were none! My meal and grand childrens meal totaled $39.00. $39.00 for no iced tea, no mild sauce and not even a napkin to wipe our hands and face with but the worse was the rudeness of the employee!
