Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Angola

The Angola DQ has maintained my trust so far in my orders being right, and tasting great while doing so. Manager Josh is often enthusiastic about making my triple flamethrower (-lettuce, -tomato, sub flame sauce for mayo) is wonderful at making what keeps me comming back. Truely the MVP. My experience also doesn't feel impersonal, i am often recognized and engaged in my visits. Polar opposite of my visits to McDonald's who regularly messes up my orders including adding onions or lettuce i wanted removed or removing bacon from a bacon mcdouble for no reason then further making it worse when i ask for my burger remade they just fix the old burger, or my curbside order magically never happened when i paid for it making me reorder wasting my time. Also unlike Taco Bell, who never gives me utensils, and also regularly messes up my orders. Even Wendy's seems to religiously mess up my baconator by making a daves instead, sometimes I'll even see the wendys by the truck stop not wearing gloves when making food. Cashier was super slow and didnt listen to our order. She assumed without asking that we wanted to make 1 of our burgers a combo meal and then refused to edit the order and charged us for gross fries and a drink we didnt want. I couldnt get a drink for a while because they had another worker standing in the way and when she finally moved she blocked the straws so i couldnt get 1. Then they left their dumb little step ladder in front of 1 of the drink machines, blocking it from use unless you move it yourself. The cashier was also gross looking with very greasy hair that she regularly ran her fingers through while getting cups and who knows what else. My burger was smothered in ketchup so bad it wasnt even edible. I hated this place so much, it was a waste if time and money because i didnt eat the nasty burger, the disgusting soggy and unsalted fries or even get to drink my drink. The staff here is terrible, this store needs to clean house and start all over. The store is absolutely disgusting and dirty. Several of the employees were being immature and cursing while we were there with our kids. We ordered 7 shakes 2 Larger and 5 medium for our kids, they gave us smalls and charged us for mediums. When I told the girl she said they were mediums I said they clearly were not, she had a manager come talk to me. The manager claimed they were out of medium cups, yet they still charged me for medium. I asked her for the difference in cost back and she said no because I ordered the medium!!! ?? !!! ??? Wth is wrong with people these days. The owners of this store need to clean house and retrain all new employees, they could learn a lot from the Bryan, Ohio Dairy Queen! That is a 5 Star store!
