This is my first google review however, this was such a disappointing experience and I was treated so poorly by the staff I’m forced to write this. I use to come to this location frequently before the fire and had nothing but positive experiences. Since then I moved and I’m actually closer to the Telegraph location however I had a less than stellar experience at the Telegraph location which I’m sad to say was better than today’s event. So business took me to Ann Arbor today and I knew this location was open again and I planned to stop for lunch. The location was not busy 3-4 people waiting to order which I didn’t mind. However, it took 15 minutes before I was able to order ( To which I was given some 20% of online order card to which I don’t order food online). Which I still didn’t mind. So my companion and I ordered 2 sandwiches with meal combos totaling over $40 which we didn’t mind because we consider this a treat after all our previously good experiences at this location. Fast forward it’s approaching 45minutes the staff is churning out online orders and calling for people who are not even present at the store loading the kitchen causing a slow down on in store orders. So I confronted the counter as several in store orders after mine had been fully served. It turns out another lady who was served after myself was missing part of her order and she had been also waiting for 15 minutes (checked by receipt time stamp)for the staff to complete her in store order. As I turns out my sandwich had been sitting in there plastic tote rack for 30 minutes (A hot sand BTW) and my companion’s sandwich order was lost or skipped. So I assume the manager who acted like I was bothering her set to work on my missing sandwich barking at the staff. In the meantime I asked how she was going to make it right because what should have been a fairly quick dining experience ( 30-40 minutes in and out) has taken a full hour now because I showed the manager the time stamp on my receipt. I asked said manager how she was going to make this interaction right. I was offered a full refund and no sandwiches. Which I declined due to my time invested already, next was offered 3 pitiful $2 off next time order cards. To which l originally declined because any reputable restaurant would have discounted some of the price of the full meal at this point. The manager then said she would not be discounting any of the meal and said coupons were her best offer which were thrown into my bag with my now cold sandwich. I responded to the manager that this would be my first and last time dining at this location and her coupons were now worthless to me. Finally, my companions sub was finished. However, incorrectly I will add. It had hardly any meat, wrong bread, and wrong cheese. I pains me to write this after so many previously positive experiences. But do better, I will not...
Read moreOut of all the times I've dealt with this store since I moved here, I've had one or two okay experiences, as opposed to countless problematic experiences and today was my last straw. Guy behind the counter when I walked in was on his phone at the makeline showing something to another worker, all smiles and laughs, while now three people are at the register. He meandered over to the register and his demeanor when dealing with the customers completely changed to a "I don't want to be here right now" attitude, muttering, slouching, barely making eye contact. Very unprofessional, especially accompanied by his long, greasy hair that was not brushed, just thrown back sloppily. Honestly, belonging in a hair net if you're going to be near food. This kid also proceeded to PICK HIS NOSE while dealing with the guy in front of me. And then of course when I came to the counter and told them the name for the order that we called in ahead of time (a simple, small Godfather), he was completely lost and had no idea what I was talking about and had to go get help. A new guy came up and he asked to ring me up (collect my money) two times before he was even sure where my sandwich was or what was going on with my order. I told him I wanted him to find my sandwich first, so he went looking and just found our ticket. Someone took the order, but no one ever made it. At this point he asks me AGAIN, to pay for the order and then "he'll get on some gloves and make it really quick." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It should already be made, and this guy did not say sorry at all, not once, for this blunder, he was just focused on getting my money. And look down the counter to find nose picker taking people's order and getting ready to make food with no mask or gloves on. We're done with DiBellas.
TL;DR- Poor customer service, unkempt employees without hairnets and picking their nose and making food, called in order ahead just to have to wait for it to be made, which always happens....
Read moreStopped in tonight on my way home since I wanted something quick and filling. Okay I admit I eat here whenever I can. Walked in at 8pm (they close at 10pm) and there weren’t any customers dinning in. The first thing I heard was workers in the back joking to each other that they should come out and tell me they are closed. Then a young man came out and started to help. He wasn’t too bad, but could tell he didn’t want to be there. While making my sub he asked me to go down to the register which was normal. Once I got down there and waited a minute or two a dark haired kid came out licking, no actually he was slurping his fingers as I could tell I pissed him off for interrupting his meal. In a very unprofessional manner asked me what I ordered. I told him that I got a full size godfather and he rolled his eyes and said stick your card it. Then the register froze up. When a short lady worker walked out she said “maybe we should have just closed” in a snarky tone. After they figured it out and I paid I went to pick up the sub and I asked the first guy for some of their well known oil in a container since I didn’t want it soak before I got home. He grabbed a container and filled it half way as his bottle emptied. I politely asked if I could have a little more than that and the black haired loser says”oh that’s plenty. It’s more than most people would need.” I responded that the oil is my favorite part and I always get more than most do. He muttered. “Oh daddy wants his sauce”. I took my meal and left as he isn’t worth my time. Even though I have eaten here hundreds of times, one bad apple does spoil it for me. I’m done and...
