I ordered a Chicago dog, which was the worst tasting cold hot dog I've ever had it was not posted as advertised. It was a false advertisement. I believe I posted the picture. If you ever had a Chicago dog, most people know what it looks like and tastes like I've been all over in different City's and states and never ever had a Chicago dog like this. I really have my mouth watering for one, but when it came to the table and I asked the waitress what is this?? She said it's what you ordered on the menu and I don't eat hot dogs she said. I was so disappointed and I let her know that this is unacceptable because it just look terrible and it wasn't what I ordered and what I expected and it's not what a Chicago dog is supposed to be even with the ingredients on it. You would expect her to offer something else or take half off or ask me is there something else I can get for you, but she didn't. So because I was hungry I took a bite and it was very cold and nasty. I was done..., I asked her again to get someone for me to talk to and she said well the owner was here a min ago, but the lady at the cash register was a Mgr. So I motioned for her to come to my table, she did but was rather rude and no customer service edicate, and again didn't offer or say anything like " I'm sorry Mam, is there anything I can offer you instead? Or perhaps I'll just adjust your bill or let me take half off, or would you like something else instead, anything would have been better than just saying rudely, she talked to the owner & that's how the owner has been doing it for 30 yrs he said. oh well, thats whats on the menu she says, and I proceeded to check out, unfortunately no tip! I'm big on customer service skills that could have been much better from all parties..clearly you can see my photos, and her attitude did not mix. If you want good food and Service...
Read moreIt deeply saddens me to share my recent experience at this place my family and I used to frequent. Unfortunately, the treatment we received from an elderly lady at the reception has left us with no choice but to find another establishment for our family dinners. During our last visit, we were shocked when she forced us to give up our table to another couple, seemingly because they were friends of hers. We were then seated at a small, inconvenient table next to the toilet. This alone was disheartening, but what followed was even worse. On numerous occasions, this lady has gone out of her way to find fault with my children, whether it's their volume, pace, going as far as trying to push my child's highchair to make space for other customers, despite there being plenty of room.. It's become clear that these complaints are nothing more than excuses to mistreat us. As a Chinese individual, I've felt particularly powerless to confront this behavior. Her actions were not only rude but also discriminatory. We were made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in a place we had previously enjoyed. As longtime customers, it's disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and disdain for no apparent reason. We had always valued the atmosphere and food there, but the behavior of this particular staff member has soured our opinion. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly. No family should have to endure discrimination and mistreatment when simply trying to enjoy a meal together. Until changes are made, we'll be taking our...
Read moreWe we're "schooled" by the waitress that we were not supposed to have sat down at a table before they cleaned it, however all my wife and I did was to pick this table (because there was this sign "please seat yourself") and sat our two little kids down on the seats (as they are too little yet still having fairly decent weights if you carry them too long). This waitress cleaned the table by taking away the two cups of water left by previous guests and wiping the table with one stroke, finished it in less than half a minute. And during this half a minute she complained to us that we were not supposed to sit down before she cleaned the table, it was not the way how they do things, she repeated these sentences all over as if we did not understand her the first time. It was a shame that the food could be great but she made us feel uncomfortable enough that we had to leave. I had great experience at multiple Leo's Coney Island restaurants, but I guess I got unlucky this time presumed that this is just another Coney Island restaurant and expected similar...
