Mujo's coffee shop, on the first floor of the University of Michigan's Duderstadt Center, is the most popular coffee shop on north campus. They have a decent selection of pastries, sandwiches, drinks, and other munchables. The worst part is that they have pretty standard Ann Arbor prices, so high. The best part is that they have good coffee and if you bring your own container, it's only a $1. Because it is student staffed, there is frequent turnover, so you can sometimes get someone who isn't sure what you are ordering, but the staff is very friendly and hard working, so it's hard to hold this against them. Read moreCustomer service is horrendous, but I guess that is to be expected when you have the privilege of having minimal business competition on campus. If you are in a hurry to get to classes, do not waste your time waiting in line here.
Additionally, whoever slices the bagels in the morning is either plastered drunk or has a high degree of vision impairment. At first I laughed at this incompetency, but now I am saddened by it.
