Often imitated but never duplicated, this place truly understands what Nashville Hot Chicken should taste like. Their dry rub seasoning is exceptional and sets them apart from other imitators. The flavor of the chicken is outstanding, and if you like it extra hot, you won't be disappointed. It took my breath away and gave me a good 20 minutes of savoring between the heat and clearing my nasal passages. It definitely hit the spot.

However, there's room for improvement. The side sauce, unfortunately, falls short. It's the same old thousand island style that lacks the authentic touch. For this, I would give it a 1 out of 5. Additionally, make sure to get your beverages before you start eating, as they don't serve any. This might be due to their contract with the Shell Convenience store in the same parking lot, but proper signage or notifications would have been appreciated.

The outdoor dining area could also use some attention. Considering they open in the mid-afternoon (2 pm), having staff arrive 30 minutes prior to ensure the outdoor space is clean and ready for customers wouldn't be too much to ask.

I got the blazin hot tender meal. After signing the waver I wondered what I got myself into but I am glad I did it. I enjoy stupid spicy levels of heat and often find myself let down or get a mouth full of salt. Not the case here. The tenders were huge, juicy, and full of flavor that I could taste, it wasn't just spicy. The heat level was hot but not I regret my life decisions hot. For normal people it might make them regret their decision but it was at the perfect level for me. It was also not overly salty which is usually the problem with getting spicy chicken. The crinkle fries were fluffy with a crisp but not hard texture. The sauce was flavorful and provided a bit of relief from the blazin heat.

I am gonna have to try the sandwich next time cause that looked super good.

Edit: I have now tried their coop sandwich, loaded fries, Cajun fries, and grilled cheese.

The loaded fries are amazing! I brought some to my friends house and they were gone before I knew it. When it comes to the fries, you can eat one level above what you eat the sandwich or tenders at. So if you eat hot, try them at Xtra hot.
