2020: Great food (isn't that what the #1 priority should be?) and a staff that wants to please. I ordered pickup off Seamless (by Grubhub) and got a Chapo's Burger, Cajun cheesy fries and a tomato basil Cheeto Wrap with chicken. All items were prepared fresh, and didn't need warming up when I got home. More importantly, the owner went out of his way to prepare the wrap (I had requested "only if possible" and he made it happen) with grilled chicken instead of crispy (fried) on the menu. And the burger patty was properly marinated and simply delicious. Will definitely repeat and recommend this to everyone anytime. 2022 Update: continues to be great in quality and customer service. Have been returning regularly since it opened and the food is just as good as when started going, the place is immensely popular as evidenced by a capacity crowd at 3pm ) far from both dining hours) on a gameday Saturday, given that the Michigan Iowa game wasn't even over 😉. So good and not even passing on the inflation effects to diners! 👍🏻

Let me start off by saying Ginny is amazing. She is very patient and super sweet. Definitely enjoyed having to order through her and getting to talk with her during our wait. My son got the BBQ burger... he fell in love with it. He got his with the mushrooms on the side and never even got the chance to put the mushrooms on there cause he said his hamburger was bussin. 9/10 My other son got the Burger 1. Sauce on the side. Big hamburger and its amazing 9/10. We also ordered the Cajun fries. Let me say I had a 25 min drive home and I tried them when we got home and they were still hot and fresh! I wasn't expecting that! 10/10 and I don't like fries so I fell in love with these ones. Strawberry Shake 10/10. Consistency is on point. Flavor is just like strawberry. And the whip cream tipped it off. Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Ginny 10/10 Food 9.5/10 Wait.. 7 mins. Definitely come check them out it's so worth it.

You know a place needs to be awesome when it mentions "All Halal Meat" in their name itself. We were planning to go to Burger 1 for a while and finally were able to. The place is nice and clean. It has two entrances. One on the street and the other from the parking lot. The parking is located in the back of the restaurant. Let's talk food now. We tried the Signature, The Arbor super burger and the Crispy Chicken. All 3 of them were awesome!. The meat was cooked to perfection and every thing was fresh and very Delicious. The crispy chicken was surprisingly good. They have really good fries as well along with some yummy shakes. These were definitely some of the best Halal Burgers we have ever tried. Offcourse had to say alhamdulillah. The place appeared popular among university students and construction workers. Overall good ambience and customer service. It was worth the drive. Will go back again!

Today we embarked on a journey to sample multiple burger locations and leave honest reviews… the good, the bad, the ugly. And here is my review for Burger One.

This place hands down does the job if you’re craving a burger fix, you’re starving, and you just really want that burger and fries that will satisfy…. This place DOES it!

But while spending a day of intentionally reviewing different burger joint’s pros and cons, there was a bit to-be-desired.

Atmosphere: music brings up the vibes and makes it a casual atmosphere. It was at a good volume and generally seemed to be pop/well known songs. Parking was difficult behind the building, and there seemed to be no outdoor seating. There were a few tables that appeared to be for another shop, but Burger One did not have clearly marked outdoor seating. Additionally, there was no decor on the walls, multiple hanging lights had burnt out bulbs, and most tables were sticky with crumbs and sauces. You couldn’t really make any claim that this place had “atmosphere” or a theme. Are you looking for a spot to take pictures and post to your stories? Don’t do it here, basically.

Ordering was made super easy, however, with their kiosk system! And if you eat Halal, they accommodate this as well. These are amongst the pros of the shop.

We ordered the recommended #1 Burger One Burger, as well as a side of Cajun fries… which came with slaw, a special sauce, and… cheese curds??? And onion rings??? We couldn’t quite tell 😬(slightly concerning)…. I had high expectations, but the slaw was watery/under seasoned. The sauce was DELICIOUS, but I truly wished there was more because it was difficult to taste, and it was the star of the burger. The bun seemed to be old and was dry- and again, I may not have noticed if I was DYING of hunger. But genuinely, the patty was dry, and the bun was too.

The Cajun seasoning on the fries was tasty, and the texture was crispy, and portions were generous…. Butttt the fries had a grainy texture almost as if they came from frozen. I’m unsure if this is true, but it’s my honest impression.

Staff didn’t seem super chatty with customers or with each other. Seemed a little sad and depressing.

But again, this’ll give you your burger fix if you’re in a pinch and need a quick and satisfying meal.

I’d recommend if you live nearby, but my true rating is a 3/5 stars. It’s not the quality, savory, juicy, flavorful and saucy burger goodness I would crave. But again, not bad- just not the best.

(Prices are fine, and meal-bundles are...

This place is amazing! The food is fairly inexpensive, especially for the area, and you get good sized portions. The menu isn't the largest but what they do serve they have perfected! Lots of different toppings to make tons of combinations, and for those who this would effect, they're completely Halal.

The staff has always been polite and are willing to accommodate. Personally I don't like Cajun seasoning so when I asked for the mac and cheese bites without it, they had no problem doing so. Also, my kids tend to be picky eaters but devoured everything!

They don't serve marinara sauce with their side of cheese sticks but they're so flavorful already that it isn't needed! Speaking of cheese sticks, I don't care what anyone else says, cheese sticks on a burger are fantastic! Yes, I thought it was weird at first, but that extra dose of oozy cheese on an already loaded burger made me a believer!

It's become pretty popular and sometimes there's a wait but it's absolutely worth it! So if you're worried about time, I'd suggest you call ahead. It's been a great addition to the many different restaurants in this immediate area and I hope they stick around awhile! Definitely much better tasting than Great Plains was and significantly...

I came here with my friend tonight and ordered takeout for two. We were super excited to try this place. We made our order and was told that our food will be given to us when it is ready. We sat right in front of the cashier, in full view. Then, about 15 minutes passed and a group of 5 came in and shortly received their food. Then, about 25 minutes later, a couple came in, made their order, and got their order shortly after. We were so confused. Finally, we decided to ask them and they gave us our food which has been apparently ready for quite some time already.

Did not understand why the wait was necessary when we were told they would give us our food when it was ready. We ordered at 7:35 and got our food at about 8:10. It was terrible for just two burgers and three sides. The cashier who took our order was even looking at us several times, but never took initiative to tell us our order was ready when she was the one who told us they’d bring it out when it was ready. No names were called. No nothing. Super disappointing. All of the fries, onion rings, and both of the burgers were soggy and the cheese in the jalapeño poppers were solid by the time we...
