I am writing to formally express our disappointment with a recent experience we had at your Annandale, VA location. This afternoon, my husband and I ordered lunch online for pick-up. We were excited to enjoy our meal at home, but upon opening my husband’s food container, we were alarmed to find a large black piece of hair on his chicken and rice. Understandably upset, we called your restaurant to speak with the manager on duty, Marvin. During our conversation, Marvin initially dismissed our concern, stating that it was "weird" because all employees wear hair nets. This response only heightened our frustration as it felt like our problem was being minimized. After a two-minute hold, Marvin asked if we could send him a picture of the hair, which added to our distress as it seemed he didn’t believe us. Ultimately, out of concern for our experience and to prove our point, we traveled back to the restaurant with the food in hand. Upon our arrival, Marvin took the container to the back to show one of his cooks, who, rather than wearing a proper hair net, was sporting a backward cap. After this, Marvin returned to apologize for the inconvenience and issued a full refund. While I appreciate the refund, the fact that it required such a significant effort on our part to provide proof, as well as the trouble of capturing a picture of the refund on his computer screen since he couldn’t print a receipt, was frustrating. This experience has left us dissatisfied, and we feel it’s necessary to inform you that we will not be returning to this particular location. Read moreI had such a wonderful experience at Moby Dick Kabob Place! The food is absolutely delicious everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The kabobs are juicy and tender, the rice is fluffy and fragrant, and the portions are generous for the price. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish. What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. Everyone was kind and welcoming, but I especially want to mention Sindy. She was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. She took the time to answer my questions, gave me great recommendations, and treated me so well throughout my visit. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and Sindy truly made my dining experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down with friends and family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and had a friendly vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. I’ve been dining in for about 2 years now and I can tell you the food, as well as Marvin’s costumer service, are excellent every time. First of all, is the experience is so “bad” then why do you keep coming back? 🤔 and second of all, in which universe does offering a second plate of food because your order was wrong is a horrible service? Hello? It seems to me that this person is literally just trying to spread hate and toxicity, he literally has a bad experience every single place he steps at, coincidence? I don’t think so… not really, check he’s reviews!! 1 start service everywhere he goes 🙄 makes you belive the problem it’s not the food or the manager but this one person all along. Anyways, really hope you guys don’t miss on an incredible costumer service experience just because “Qaiss Nasseri” says he doesn’t like it.
