Issues:

My sales rep had no idea what he was doing in the sales process at all. He told me he was only with the dealership for 10 days prior to meeting me. When it came to me having any questions at all he had to go and ask someone else, this included questions about the features and buttons of the vehicle. What grinded my gears about this is that he knew I was driving all the way from Ohio to purchase this vehicle. His lack of knowledge of the Macan that he wanted to sell me showed me nothing but pure incompetence. I don’t understand why he didn’t take a few hours to familiarize his self with the vehicle so that he would be confident in what he was doing. Upon returning home I had to visit my local Porsche dealership so they could walk me through my vehicle.

While having discussions regarding my trade in it was indicated that the vehicle could be delivered to me in Ohio and they pick up my trade in. I was elated with that option because I would not have to drive 6 plus hours. Then I receive a phone call from rep to inform me that he was told that was no longer an option because it was not cost effective for the sale. I was upset because why was it even offered if it wasn’t an option? He then informed me that he was told that it wasn’t an option by Katherine Higuera. She then called and informed me that if I wanted this as an option there would be no negotiations regarding the purchase price. At this point I am frustrated because I have spent days going back and forth with documents and financing options just to be told that what was offered would now be taken off the table. At that point I really should have walked away and not purchased at all from this dealership.

My dealings with Danny Pena seemed to be fairly pleasant initially, but that went south when I started to receive texts and calls regarding documents that he didn’t process properly or have me sign. Then it became an aggravating situation of please send these documents back express mail so that the paperwork could be corrected. I then found that on my documents that the vehicle wasn’t being listed as Certified Pre-Owned on certain forms. Another thing that had to be corrected.

After returning home with the vehicle I notice that I have no caps on the tire air nozzles, a friend sat in the passenger seat and found a human hairball in the side seat crease. I sent a text to the sales rep because I was immensely upset. Katherine contacted to me explain that she would pay for a detail. By this time, I am just disgusted with everything that has happened thus far. How do you sell a luxury vehicle without detailing it? To add insult to injury the back-seat arm rest has red stains in it that are not coming out of the leather. At this point I have absolutely no recourse in regards to price, no one is going to pay for the leather repair and I’m stuck with the damage to a 2024 Macan. I have inserted photos. Also, it never dawned on me to pull down the backseat armrest when looking at the vehicle, who would think to even do that?!?!?!

Next issue and most important of them all is there is an issue with the title. The bank cannot find it in any search database they have. Per their records the vehicle has never been titled. Who has the title, who was the previous owner, did the dealership do the proper research on the vehicle during the buyback or trade from the previous owner? I’m going to say of course not because if they did Chase bank would be able to process the title request to the state of Ohio so I can get my tags and registration. Now I have to go to my state bring extra paperwork so that I can have a temporary tag until the title search can be completed. This is an absolute inconvenience that’s actually turning into a nightmare.

I have purchased vehicles for over 20 years and never in my life have I encountered such incompetence on so many levels in my life. The ball was dropped by every single person I met at this dealership and I can assure you that my google review and the email I send to Porsche corporate will reflect every bit of...

First worked with them last January when we investigated month- end deals on pre-owned Macan’s. Talked numbers but ultimately walked away because the deal wasn’t anything special (typical fees, etc). Fast forward to December when we revisited to see what was in stock worth buying. Note: we went to Annapolis because their online pre-owned pricing tended to be better than other DMV Porsche dealers. Found a car we liked and asked them to put together an offer. Came back with typical $1000 in fees dealers like to throw on to cover admin costs and pad their margins, except this time they had an extra $999 line item for a “reconditioning fee”. It’s a pre-owned car! Of course there’s going to be some reconditioning/cleanup of it. That’s supposed to be baked into your price already. I found this to be disingenuous. Take note: their pre-owned pricing on the internet is not what it seems. Even having seen the “reconditioning fee” for what it was, we negotiated back and forth and settled on a price. Next up, the financing dept., who made the typical attempts to upsell extended warranties, service packages, tire packages, etc. We declined 5 of the 7 but ultimately agreed to the PSMP (Porsche Scheduled Maintenance Plan) and the tire package. I calculated the total cost over the life of the loan for each and in a moment of weakness signed off on both (Wanted to get the deal over with and get out of there and figured I could research and cancel if needed). Well, went home, did my research, and realized the PSMP is just a glorified oil/filter change schedule. Maybe the 40K service had a little more to it, but not much, so I decided to call back the next morning(within 6 business hours of signing the deal) to request to drop the PSMP. Danny, the Finance guy, tells me he can’t cancel it - “Porsche won’t let them”. Says maybe they could cut us a check to offset some of it, but they can’t cancel it. I tell him I want it cancelled but to send me an email with what they’d propose if they aren’t willing/able to cancel. CRICKETS. Well, outside of sending me a Porsche brochure on PSMP which says it can’t be cancelled, and which I was never provided prior to signing off. Sent multiple follow ups to multiple folks and they opted not to respond. They ghosted me for weeks until I posted this review(now edited). They did offer a concession(which we took) but it still left us with an overpriced service plan at the end of the day. Ultimately, I signed the deal, but please TAKE HEED. DO NOT AGREE TO ANY EXTRA PROGRAMS UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH LIGHTING $1000s OF DOLLARS ON FIRE. There are plenty of local independent Porsche shops that handle the basic servicing of your vehicle at a greatly reduced cost. For the one-off technical work that requires Porsche techs, handle that a-la-carte at a Porsche dealer. Don’t say I...

Dropped my car off for EVAP and o2 sensor codes. Received a loaner which is nice & per usual. Few days later received phone call from Hugo E in service stating the vent line for the oil tank needed to be replaced and the total came to $751.35 to repair. I said great thanks. I show up to the dealer and get handed an invoice for $965.10. Perplexed even after figuring in the up charge for the ~$221 part + tax it still didn’t make sense. Hugo then tells me there’s a diagnostic fee which wasn’t mentioned before or at the call and I’ve never been charged one before at PML. Sitting here I’m comparing a work order from PML to Porsche Annapolis and I only see diagnostic fees, shipping charges for parts and “shop charge for repair order-$35” on the Porsche of Annapolis Invoice. Anyway! As I digress. I respect people on their word. Don’t call me saying my total Is $751.35 then when I show up and I’m hit with an extra $213 ($159) diagnostic fee and $35 repair order fee in which Hugo did not tell me about. He should of called that first time with the REAL total. As a side note we did go back and fourth about being unsatisfied etc and that he would remove that charge that he never told me about but at that point I declined his proposal because if that is what the cost is than thats what the cost is. If I’m going to be mislead and someone won’t keep their word to me than I’ll let that ride on them. The cost isn’t the issue. It’s being told one thing yet showing up and being told another. Your initial word is my repeat business and when that changes despite someone’s offer to fix at that point I already feel as if I’m being cheated and played. So With that. I paid their total invoice and will never return. Unfortunate because Isaiah the sales rep I was working with on purchasing a vehicle was pretty cool but that dealership has lost my business. 1 strike you’re out. Plenty of other dealerships in the area. As well versed as I am in the DMV car scene I’ll let everyone know to stay clear of Porsche of Annapolis. Keep your word and don’t surprise customers who are paying for your dealer up charge. Oh and my battery cover was off flopping around in the trunk for some reason.

PROS - my dash cam revealed no unprofessional behavior or aggressive driving while in my car. They did stall it twice. But...
