I had high hopes for Toastique, was very excited and went out of my way to try it, but unfortunately, it completely missed the mark. We spent about $70 on breakfast, and I left genuinely frustrated.
I ordered a bowl specifically without granola and with several other modifications. Despite that, it was served with granola on the bottom and the top. The staff admitted the mistake—but instead of remaking the bowl, they casually asked if they could just scrape the granola off the top and serve it like that. Seriously? The bowl was still half granola, and it tasted like none of my customizations were followed.
To make matters worse, I ordered two different toasts—and both came on plain, raw bread. Not toasted. It was just cold bread with toppings, and it was honestly gross. How does a place called “Toastique” not manage to toast bread?
The only decent parts of the meal were the shake and the chia pudding. Everything else was a letdown. For the price and branding, I expected way better quality and customer service. At the very least, I expected them to remake the messed-up order or take it off the bill—but that didn’t happen.
Bottom line: great marketing, terrible execution, save your money, there are better options, locally that offer more customization and more local fresh...
Read moreservice was pretty good, but food was pretty bad. my spouse got the radiance, which was the only good thing out of everything we had. i got the seasonal sunrise, and despite watching them throw an entire orange and decent amount of mango into the blender, the only thing this drink tastes like is vanilla and water. it's a terrible experience, possibly the worst drink i've ever ordered.
we ordered a peach prosciutto toast to share and the flavors were nice enough, but the toast was barely toasted, as though they threw it in the toaster just long enough to be able to claim it was a piece of toast. this made the toast get soggy incredibly fast, and it was very hard to eat. it became unpleasant quickly, and we ended up not finishing it because of it. this toast is entirely too expensive to throw away half of!
anyways, this is a place this is way too expensive to make mediocre food and bad drinks. it was a really frustrating experience, everything seemed so good and i was planning to come back for a second drink while ordering and by the end of my meal i left hungry, disappointed and never wanting to...
Read moreI would give 5 stars but ive had to walk out of here a few times now (3x now) because i am not okay with people using the same gloves to count money and give change to customers, and then take the same gloves that were just in the register, and then touch the food. No glove change or anything. I’ll either give it away or toss it instead of consume it. Money is disgusting and unsanitary (think strippers and people who use it for their drugs) no thanks! I gave ample opportunities thinking it was a fluke but 3rd strike.. im very happy with my food when its done hygienically and i actually get to eat it but im tired of wasting money mow for it to keep happening. As someone who works in the food industry myself, please teach your staff to change gloves after using the register. Gloves should be treated as hands… they should be changed when hands should be washed. Im sad because i truly love the healthy things this place has to offer. If your glove changing practices change, please let me know, i may give it...
