My wife and I used to go to Outback often before Covid hit. Then during Covid we got takeout. The funny thing is, the steaks were actually cooked perfectly. When we got home it wasn’t over cooked, still nice and tender with a little pink inside. But this review is on our most recent visit, I’ll have to say, not a good one and it wasn’t the best experience we’ve had there. First we had to wait nearly 35 minutes or longer until a waiter showed up to take our order. We kept looking and looking, but no one was around. Not one person came out to check on us to see if we needed anything. Finally, a waiter came out, took our order. We waited nearly 40 minutes, then When we got our order, it wasn’t the waiter that brought it. It was someone else and one of the dishes was not ours. So the waiter came by took that away and again we waited for another 30+ minutes for my wife’s proper steak dish to come back. When it did, My wife’s steak was raw. Her sister’s broccoli was overcooked. And one of the things we liked there was there steamed veggies and the big bunches of broccoli we would get, tender with a slight crunch. We waited nearly 20 minutes for a waiter to even show up. He never came to check on us. Never stopped by to ask if we needed anything. More water? Nothing! But when he did show up, we told him about the steak and he took it back to get it re-cooked. That took another 30 minutes or so. Finally, when we got the steak, it was cooked better, but the edges were overcooked… but definitely tasted better than the first steak. We also waited for the longest time to tell our waiter about the broccoli being overcooked… We saw another server walking around and asked if they could get us another broccoli. She saw it and said that it looked bad and shouldn’t even have been brought out. So she went and got us some fresh broccoli… Was definitely better! Then when we were done eating, we waited again for the longest time for our waiter to show up so we could pay the bill. Someone, or a manager came out and said that the steak my wife got was taken off the bill since it wasn’t properly cooked. We appreciated that! It’s very hard to get a meal these days that is actually worth what you’re paying. And especially going out and trying to enjoy a nice steak dinner or meal at a restaurant you’d hope they bring out a properly cooked meal the first time. People can make mistakes, or restaurants can be busy, but as I always say, there’s no excuse for sending out a plate that shouldn’t go out in the first place. I don’t know if this place uses thermometers when checking their steaks , but it would save a whole lot of time and customers wouldn’t have to wait a half hour or more for another steak. So Outback would like to invite me for another meal and to change my review I’d be happy to give them another chance. Don’t get me wrong, they’ve got good flavors and I do love this place when they are spot on, but when they are not, it makes you not want to come back…...

Everything came out fantastic, appetizers were great and hot and exactly what we ordered, drinks were fast and amazing as well. As soon as the appetizers arrived we ordered our food which was around 9:25-9:30 pm. The order was medium rare prime rib with sides (came out picture perfect with picture perfect sides) and a medium bone-in ribeye (came out medium well/ on the well done side; working at steak houses for 8 years you learn when somebody puts a weight on your steak and this was the case today). Amy our bartender (who was polite, accommodating and friendly the entire time) took the overcooked steak right back to the kitchen to fix the situation. During that time I flag down the second bartender and told her to tell the kitchen to just cook it medium rare (and I said this "so they don't f" it up again). She went back to the kitchen and relay the message. After she came back from relaying the message I apologized to the matter of not wanting to make a big deal about the steak. At that point I knew it was getting late and I did not want to hold the kitchen up any longer (9:48-9:52pm). My apology was disregarded by this young bartender with sarcasm in her voice to the tone of "no big deal" and a "yeah" followed up at the end of her statement. Her reply to me made me feel incredibly unwelcomed as if I'm a burden or a nuisance to her closing down the bar. So when Amy came out a minute or two later I asked for my food to-go I did not want to nconvenience the young bartender. Whoever cooked the second steak came out and apologized in a sincere manner, he asked me to cut the steak and check it to which I replied "I'am all good" as once again I felt uncomfortable being there. So my companion packed up their meal and we left before 10 p.m. The bill was $112/$113 we left $50 tip (1/4/23) Amy and the rest of the people were AMAZING but we are never coming back due to that young bartenders attitude towards us. She was a real Cee Uou...
Read moreIn town for a quick shopping trip and stopped for dinner. The night started rocky but I was trying to be optimistic. Decided to sit at the bar as there was a 15 minute wait for a 2 seater. My drink was subpar so I went with water for the refill. The bartender was noticeably attending to customers of other backgrounds differently. However, we chose to Not mention the drink or complain. Unfortunately, my dish came out and it was very bland , the chicken slightly uncooked so I could not eat it. I mentioned it to the bartender and she stated snobbily “ it’s a pepper seasoning “ Prior to that I got my date to taste it just in case because I can be a picky eater. She whispers and pointed to coworkers before notifying the manger. The manger came over with a very friendly disposition observed the dish and quickly took it off the bill. I appreciated his efforts. After the bartender came back avoiding eye contact and slammed the change on the counter patting It instead of handing it to either of us. In addition she didn’t return the receipt. I’ve never been treated this way at any outback EVER !! I’m very disappointed and disgusted. The bartender was an older white female who also failed to...
