Went to Safari a couple of times at the old location and thought it was the best coffee that I have ever tried. Then they disappeared only to reappear downtown Ansonia next to Banko's. The owners are incredible nice people and they have become friends. The lounge is everything you would expect for a small coffee shop. There is writing on the walls from their loyal following of customers. Funny pictures and today I noticed some art work going up on the wall. The coffee is seriously the best coffee in Ansonia and the surrounding area. I often find myself wanting Safari coffee when I am out of state. Have no been able to find a smoother or tastier cup of coffee yet. This is a regular stop in my day and the best $2 that I can spend. Read moreAmazing service and good coffee. I never like hot coffee I usually order iced but this one was worth it the best part about it is that the owner is a very good human being. The owner even said he was going to buy oats milk and start offering it since I suggested it! The fact that he’s willing to go out of his way and accommodate a new customer was really refreshing and I appreciated the other customers conversation while they were in line and even sitting inside. This is the place that you want to support and oh did I mention how cheap the price is?! Definitely recommend...

The food surprised me the most , price was extremely fair and the BEC was delicious!
As for the wife she prefers the sweet sugar drinks like you get from Dunkin , not sure if that’s an option we asked for extra pumps etc but for her it was still very much coffee.
Prices have changed a bit from the photo last put in reviews a few years back, this was expected but the increase was much less...
