Taco Bell is fast-food, and so you know you aren't going to get authentic Mexican food or a great sit-down restaurant experience, but that's not what fast-food is all about. It's about quick, tasty food at a low price, and Taco Bell definitely delivers there.
This location is the closest to my current residence, so I've been here many times. The service on the inside counter is generally good but not great, but the food is better than average for Taco Bell, especially for dine-in.
The dining room is kept pretty clean, and there are plenty of tables to sit at. This location hasn't been remodeled into the ultra-modern style as some others have recently, but I'm fine with the basic tables-with-wooden-chairs here. Nothing fancy, but, hey, it's fast food. My only complaint is the lack of a customer-facing drink machine; the only drink machine is near the drive-thru window so you have to wait for an employee to refill your drink. This is clearly due to the high school a block away, and the high volume of student traffic here.
Like most fast-food places, you DO have to be VERY careful if you go through the Drive-Thru. The Drive-Thru moves fairly quickly, but that leads to frequent errors, and if you have a big order, or have anything custom, you simply MUST double-check your order before driving off, or there's a good chance that something will be missing or wrong. This location is maybe a bit better than some, but this is an industry-wide issue, and if you don't check, you should just expect to be disappointed, so that you won't be surprised in that 1 in 5 chance that your...
Read moreIf you want to be charged 3 times on your CC for the same order and no food to show for it, this is your place. I placed an order online for In-Store pick and saw the transactions charged on my CC even though there was a system error. I went in assuming I can grab my food and they can refund me/cancel the other 2 erroneous transactions but no, to All The Above. They saw the CC transactions charged to their store # but no record of my food order in their store so their answer is for me to call Corporate Taco Bell to get it resolved. Like WHAT?? I want my food and then I planned to just dispute the other 2 transactions with my CC company but no food either. Very poor experience considering this wasn't a problem I created. This is a Taco Bell system problem however, guess I have to just deal with the inconvenience of it all now. And did I mention, still no food. I'm irritated with the whole experience and would have thought they would do something to make it right. NOPE! Not okay. Great service Taco Bell. From a...
Read moreI haven't been there for years since I mistakenly thought I'd get quicker service if I went inside and ordered instead of my car idling behind six cars with multiple customers challenged by the menu. On that occasion I went inside, no one in front of me, and ordered ONE CHALUPA. After 15 minutes and a dozen cars passing in the drive-thru I demanded my money back. The manager ordered the food prep to prepare my order as I complained I had been waiting while cars that were in front of me had all been served and new arrivals were being attended to while I waited for ONE CHALUPA! I never went back and I was told by someone that vehicles trip a timer and efficiency of service is evaluated automatically-- damn the walk-ins! My wife went in instead of getting in a line of four cars on a Friday afternoon, and I sat in the car with the baby for 15 minutes. I should have gone to the one across...
