Growing up, I always saw characters in movies and TV shows go into a coffee shop where the baristas knew their name. Little Bean is that coffee shop for me! I love all of the seasonal drinks and always work my way through the menu each season to find my favorite (although I couldn't choose between the Campfire Coldbrew and the Bananas Foster this past summer, they are both winners to me). Caramel Corn Cold Brew is fast becoming my fall menu favorite this season, although I'll always love Sweater Weather. All of that to say, please check out Little Bean! The seasonal menu is better than any chain coffee shop can manage and the service is top-notch. The vibes are perfect if you need somewhere to just hang out and read and feel part of community or if you need somewhere to drink great coffee, get great food, and bring your laptop to catch up on work. I've seen regulars playing card games, others having friendly debates around a table, kids playing with toys in the side room that is set up with families in mind, and more. Every community needs a Little Bean, and I'm so glad that I'm fortunate enough to live local enough to...
Read moreBeen going for years. 9/10 times the staff is unfriendly, unwelcoming, slow and outright rude! Why do you have two people staring at customers when they are trying to see the overpriced menu? Just relaxes there’s NO ONE behind me! I wouldn’t mind the prices if the products were actually good. Also, stop staring so hard at customers when the tip option pops up. If you’re going to be rude you’re not getting one. Your staff always acts like customers are a bother, are short with answers and rush you. They giggle to each other about customers (yes I heard you talk about the lady. Gossip about your customers a bit quieter. K?) The atmosphere has always been nice. It’s cozy. Fairly clean. Your click like behavior is very noticeable though. I support what the store stands for so I want to continue to support you and bring family and friends from out of town but can’t if the owner and staff don’t stop with the attitudes. You get nicer service at other local coffee shops. Even Dunkin'. Their food is cheaper and coffee products don’t taste burnt. Also...
Read moreWent in with my mom around 11am on a Sunday. They’ve recently changed names maybe even management and or ownership I’m not sure; it was cafe book now little bean. They have a little display case with the quiche and a few muffins or treats. I wasn’t really thrilled with what they had as far as selection. The only quiche wasn’t labeled and labels were on things that weren’t even in there. I ordered a veggie bfast burrito but they were out of tortillas (There’s a grocery store a block away and there’s 3 staff there). I think the owner was there. Never asked how we liked what we’d ordered. My potatoes in the burrito turned bowl were way too salty. I really liked the tea latte I ordered. Good ambiance and overall style, seems like it would work out great for a small group to meet. I’ll probably try another place next. Truth be told, I’d go back here just without high...
