5-Star Review for Mexican Paradise
If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food with unbeatable hospitality, Mexican Paradise is the place to go! From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family, and that’s because owner Brian and his amazing team truly care about their customers. Brian is not only a fantastic restaurant owner but also a great person who gives back to the community in so many ways. You can feel the passion he has for both his food and his customers, and it shines through in every aspect of the restaurant.
Now, let’s talk about the food—simply put, it’s incredible! The chips and salsa are hands down the best I’ve ever had—fresh, crispy chips paired with a salsa that has just the right amount of kick and flavor. It’s the kind of thing you can’t stop eating, and trust me, you’ll want to take some home! But the real star of the menu? The skirt steak. It’s absolutely next level—perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. Whether you have it in tacos, fajitas, or just on its own, it’s easily one of the best steak dishes around.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere at Mexican Paradise is always warm and inviting. Whether you’re there for a quick lunch, a family dinner, or a night out with friends, it’s the kind of place where you feel at home. The service is top-notch, the drinks are fantastic, and there’s a real sense of community here that you just don’t find at most restaurants.
Brian and his family have built something truly special with Mexican Paradise, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go—you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning...
Read moreThe food is good for the most part and the portions are nice. I like the ground beef, steak has a weird taste to me, and chicken is dry and barely seasoned. I was happy when they moved across the street to a bigger nicer location. Was happy but that changed quickly when I noticed they jacked up the prices quite a bit. I usually get the Chimichanga but the price is simply way too high for me now. I remember it being $9.00 and now it's $11.00. Went there recently and ordered a burrito because I didn't want to spend $11.00 on the chimichanga. Asked for an additional order of Chips and Salsa and was told that it's now a dollar for an additional basket of chips. The baskets are very small by the way. That was enough for me to be done with Paradise Cafe. Despite the fact that I like the food I do not like the owners greed to jack up there prices so high and nickel and dime their customers like they do now. If I do decide to take my family back here it will only be once a year at best instead of several times like we have in the past. In hind sight I wish they would have never moved and kept things just the way they use to be. Time for me to find a new Mexican restaurant to fill my belly and be nice to my wallet.
Update 2022: Decided to bite the bullet and order from here recently. It was just for myself so I was willing to spend the money. I ordered a chimichanga and chips and salsa to go. My bill was around $26.00 before tax or tip. That is insane. I'm never going here again. I can't afford it. Not sure how or why anyone else can or...
Read moreMy wife and I used to go to this restaurant for over ten years The decor is sports bar atmosphere with hard wood tables. There is outside seating on the sidewalk next to the street. This is not the best choice for outdoors, but people seem to like it. As far as service is concerned the front counter is confusing at best. Three different people asked us the same questions but didn’t confer with each other. No one single person was in charge. We finally sat at the bar, since they wanted to seat us outside in the summer heat. The bartender was way too loud yelling across the bar and he was more interested in paying attention to the girls at the bar. The food really is mediocre to poor at that. My wife ordered three tacos each with a different meat. She has allergies and asked for no dairy, like no cheese or sour cream. When it came the plate was drowning in shredded cheese. Of course she sent it back. When it was corrected, the chicken taco was plain shredded white meat dry; no sauce, no flavor, no good. We use to order the steak fajita, but it went down hill as well, loaded with green peppers, some onions, no tomatoes. We stopped ordering this dull tasting dish. The staff has not been trained properly and they care less. Before you leave tap on the...
