Pedersen Park — Attraction in Antioch

Pederson Park is a nice little park for any time of the year. This municipal park has a picnic shelter that can be reserved. The park is also bordered by water on two sides and you can find people fishing at any time of the year, from regular casting fishing to ice fishing in the winter. Nice park, easy to miss. Pederson park is in antioch, IL on the south side of Rt 173, 1/8 mile west of RT. 59

Great for off leash dog walking. I routinely see people fishing (shore and ice fishing). There is a playground, large grassy area,, and is surrounded by water on 3 side. There is also a small pavilion with a few picnic tables , trash cans, porta potty and ample parking.

It's a nice little park that is well kept. It has a nice playground and tables to eat. There is a covered area with a grill. There are pathways by the water that are mulched for all the people fishing. There were lots of people out fishing, which was nice to see. I'd like to take my kayak back and look...
