Sooooo cute and took me back to my childhood, they had all the old school candy and treats. The ladies that helped us were super sweet! I wish I remembered their names but they were truly awesome, could've really talked me into buying the whole store. So many unique items, chocolate covered potato chips, mangos dipped in chocolate, snickers fudge, peanut butter swirl fudge, Amish made cashew crunch, and so much more... it was a so cool stepping back into time and being able to indulge in the some of the treats that made my childhood just a bit sweeter.

The perfect sweet shop in Antioch!! The fudge is AMAZING. The chocolate truffles are my personal favorites and make great little gifts if you buy a pack of 5. They serve ice cream all year 'round and even during wintertime they can serve you delicious ice cream. If you're lucky enough to see the owner, Lisa, there, do yourself a favor and say hi. She is absolutely wonderful to talk to and you can tell from her terrific shop how passionate she is to bring you delicious treats. You must check this place out!

It was my first time in and WOW! Lots to see and LOTS OF SWEETS! Lisa, the owner, was very informative the whole way! Something sweet is normally known for their fudge but I ended up getting a few espresso candies and a few of these ball things (I forgot what they are called but all is good 🤤) definitely try the peanut butter smoothies too! Some of my favs & orange peel

Something Sweet review

Last month my husband and I were going to get married in Highland Park. With the recent tragedy that occurred, however, we were unable to stay with our original venue and catering service. With a week to prepare, we decided to stay local and support our local restaurants. We decided to go through the sweet shop in town, Something Sweet, and we had an AMAZING experience. The new owner, Lisa, could not have been kinder. She was very empathetic about our situation and listened intently on our story. She wanted to provide the best she could for us and we cannot express how grateful we are for her kindness and understanding. She took care of our requests immediately, and even blessed us further by adjusting the total to fit our budget. She borrowed us trays/stands and made it even more special by decorating them with ribbon with the same colors as our wedding theme. Her customer service was outstanding. We were very impressed with her service and her food as well! We ordered truffles and chocolate covered strawberries, our guests and ourselves enjoyed them very much. We highly recommend you stop in as we will be...

From the minute you walk through the door of this vintage store front, you are greeted by the sweet chocolate candy store aromas of your youth. And by the politeness of the owner Ashley and her staff, who seem determined to make your visit, and your purchase a pleasant & memorable experience. I frequently say that in the 21st century, we have unfortunately become complacent with inferior products & inferior service. That is why I so look forward to my visits there. It's like being transported back in time to the 50's & 60's of my youth, when quality people offered quality products, that earned your shopping allegiance. I'm guessing that is why 80% of the people who walk through the door, appear to be repeat customers. We all, already know what a gem this...
